"Dr. Bird almost cost me and my baby our lives. 38 year old on my 4th high risk pregnancy pre-eclampsia toxicity and needing a cesarean the 4th time that I had scheduled she ignored me when I called her at 37 weeks telling her something was wrong that I didn't feel good and baby needed to come out. I called the office and she told me I was close to my schedule surgery so just sit down and relax lol after another day I absolutely knew something was wrong and I took myself to the emergency room had my baby alone hubby missed itd ue to the emergency. she never apologized"

"Dr Bird and the office staff are unreasonable and I had a really bitter experience. I came in for an annual, preventative care appointment and I didn't know it at the time, but there was a mistake on my health record from my regular doctor who referred me to Dr Bird. This office billed me for a problem focused visit instead of a preventative care visit. I discovered this when I got a bill for $900 and I have good health insurance. When I researched the issue, I found the mistake on my health record and had it corrected. I tried to work with Dr Bird's office to clear up the error and they would not budge in correcting the billing codes and changing them to preventative. I had already cleared it with my insurance company that this was legitimate and the office shouldn't worry about changing codes. They told me errors happen all the time. The only success I had was clearing up a routine care test that I should have not been charged for regardless if the appointment was problem focused or preventative. I never understood why this office was so unwilling and unhelpful. They wouldn't work with me or my insurance company at all and the reason they told me was because they already did a more thorough exam than they would do at a preventative appointment. They asked me a few more questions and ordered an extra ultrasound. That's the only difference and it cost me a lot of money. I moved on and went to a different gynecologist and I'm very pleased with them. And the ultrasounds they ordered for me were covered and my insurance hasn't changed. Conclusion, this office will not correct coding errors and you will be stuck paying."

She doesn't sugar coat things, is very informative, and also has similar sense of humor.
