"Beware that you get charged a $20 “after hours drop off fee” if you return a truck or trailer when the store is closed. Nowhere do they disclaim this. I rented a truck for 12 hours, 10am to 10pm. Dropped it off before 10pm, and still get this charge. Don’t allow rentals to go past closing time if you have this ridiculously fee. At the very least, tell your customers up front that they will receive this charge."
"15 foot truck was the perfect size for a small two bedroom house for moving everything in two trips. Foster road U-Haul was a great company to rent the truck and had no issues with the whole process."
"This location not only provided me with all of the equipment necessary, but also provided the best customer service you could ask for. Jeremy working the store, was extremely knowledgeable and was outstanding during the process. Please be sure to give this employee all of the support and accolades possible for making my experience so superb! Thank you and I would refer someone to this location in a heart beat!"
"I had two issues with my rental process. First off, when picking up the truck at this location, the employee wrote our truck return address on our paperwork. This location was on Powell Blvd and close to our destination. However, a few hours after pickup, I received a text and email from UHaul showing our return address was completely different — at the Clackamas Town Center location which was much further from our destination. We weren’t going far at all so the trip should’ve only been 8 miles altogether, but having to return the truck at this further location made our trip nearly twice as long and cost us twice as much to refill the gas tank. The second issue I had is that when I called to ask about extending the rental and see how much it would cost to do so, the woman on the phone told me she was able to extend it without incurring a fee. Oh that’s great, I thought! However when we returned the truck to the Clackamas Town Center I was told I was being charged a $50-something fee for the extension. I might not have agreed to extend the rental if I knew it would actually cost $50, and not be free like the employee on the phone told me."
"Horrible location. My mother rented a U-Haul and storage for a one way for one day on 12/9. Storage hours are 5AM - 10PM .. so they say. Sunday we showed up to have my mothers U-Haul back by the time she was supposed to have it back and could not gain access to her storage unit, the code they sent her in her email told her access denied everytime she punched it in, we called customer service and spoke to 3 different representatives for them to tell us they could not get ahold of the GM and to just take the U-Haul with us since it was full of my mother’s belongings and to come back the next day during business hours to get it sorted out. When my mom was speaking to the representatives over the phone they kept telling her the truck was supposed to be returned Sunday morning at 8 am but every email my mother had from them showed 12/10 by 7:00 PM. So clearly systems need to be fixed so they’re lined up and accurate. She showed up today 12/11 to return the U-Haul AGAIN and try to gain access to her storage and nobody was even on property and doors were locked to get into the store, she called the store 31 times and no response on the phone. She then called customer service one again and they gave her the regional presidents number who I guess goes by Ron and he swore to my mom someone was there but nobody was there so he told her turn back around and drive back to the store because he swore up and down someone was there (his friend) so he said. They’re very unprofessional and don’t have their ducks in a line. My mom has stressed this way more then she should have too. She paid for the Storage and was never able to gain access because they’re giving wrong codes or something who knows, GMs don’t answer their phones and when she shows up during business hours nobody’s there once again. But for the area they’re just living up to those standards, the business fits right in over there I don’t recommend getting storage units here or Uhauls."
