"I was here as a visitor, attending a Christmas program in which my grandchildren participated. This church is open, welcoming, and the people friendly and kind. The participation in the program ranged from a 2 or 3 year old up to adult seniors. It is obviously a church with active family participation. The musical skit quoted from the Bible, telling the story of the birth of Jesus, with the nativity scene being the toddlers and young children dressed in costumes, doing their best to remember words and songs. I was impressed with the music director...a gentleman with the patience of Job as he watched little ones impatient to be done, tossing stuffed animals at each other while he patiently directed other children. The story of Christ was beautifully told by all participants. Following the performances all were invited to partake in refreshments and fellowship and we were made to feel welcome as friends, not stranger or visitor. It was a lovely evening...I look forward to a return visit."
