"Every staff member has a huge ego to make up for their sad lives."
"Gary Roberts "Dean of Students" lost my daughter's volunteer hours she compiled throughout her last two years of high school to get her honor cord, she volunteered for the fire dept, library and the feast program and Lisa from the fire station asked me why my daughter didn't get her cord when her own daughter and every other student who contributed 100+ hours of service to the community was called on to accept their cords, my daughter who she knew first hand worked more than the hours required for the fire department wasn't called she said I should say something, I did, no one has tried to make it right, I was told she could re do the hours and it was a week or less till graduation. My daughter currently is in her 2nd year at OSU and every term she is on the dean's list. I would like to add that rhis gary roberts, former Dean of students arranged a meeting with me at 10 am and I arrived to find he was out of the building golfing with Mr.Presley. They force all "special students" to work like indentured servants mopping floors and using the same mop to mop lunchroom tables, it's disgusting. And yes they decide if the absences are excised or not, my son had strep saw a doctor was given meds and when those meds caused diarrhea he stayed home as per regulations, they marked him absent and I called him in explaining he had problems with his meds, but it requires another doctor's note, that's just ridiculous."
"There is something very strange about this school! My daughter has gone here all four years and is trying to graduate. She has been on the honor roll, she is an A/B student who doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs ect. And they are trying to control her by saying she won't be able to walk with her class at graduation if she misses any classes or days, for ANY reason. We had a major family emergency so I called to let them know she wouldn't be there and when she came back, they said the days were not excused. This is unbelievable to me and it's not just my daughter they are pulling this on. Its also not the only things that are happening. They continue to stress her out for no reason!? What is wrong with the staff and or this school!!?? Be warned if you put your child in this school, they may need counseling by the time they can get out. Not a joke."
"Better for my son. He says teachers and students are nicer and are willing to help more."
"worst experience of my life. avoid at all costs"
