"A medication that proved to be a poison in my system made me weak and unable to eat. While taking a shower I blacked out and fell out of the tub, landing on my face and wedged behind the bathroom door. Almost miraculously the duty EMT found his way in and stood over me. His voice was so reassuring that even though I was in trauma he calmed me down, secured a neck collar and got me down a long flight of stairs to the ambulance. He and his partner, a woman who said she would drive me slowly and carefully to the hospital, reassured me as well. These two people will always be true heroes in my life! Thanks Pacwest!
