"Zwald has several divisions, so I will review the one I worked for, the Milk Hauling side. Hauling milk can be very very interesting. Driving is only half of your job. The other half is dragging hoses and loading or unloading milk. Zwald offers very good training and you wont be released on your own until you/they are comfortable and confident in your ability to do so safely. You get a full benefit package, health and dental, and 401k. I am unsure of what their pay structure is now as it changed after I left. With the milk side,, they run double tanks and single tube trailers. You may run 1 or more routes depending on your schedule. Schedules are done by seniority, so You will most likely be starting on at nights. Its a good job and dealing with the farms and getting to know the farmers and taking pride in the fact that you can negotiate a full size semi through places you never thought you could(remember, you'll be trained). For the most part, everyone will treat you well, but it is a very busy, very fluid company. Everyone puts in 110% all the time and it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle. But you will be greeted with a smile and a hello, or at least a head nod, if they're busy. But your work will be respected if you can keep the left door closed, and the tires rolling and keep your farms safe and sound with the minimal amount of drama.. You will get a sense of accomplishment and It is nice to end to your day, knowing that you took care of all of your farms, that you will become attached to, and you can shut that truck door and go home with pride. And as a bonus, you can always look forward to having a farm dog or a barn cat come up for some loves.......and occasionally a cow too."
