"Melinda is a GREAT Attorney! She helped me with my first round of court with the initial custody filing, and then we ended up settling for a month later to request a modification. I emailed her to inquire about her being my attorney again, with IMMEDIATE responses. I will ALWAYS use Melinda for anything I may need in the future. She is a hard worker, dedicated, and makes the process so easy for her clients."
"Melinda was great with helping me fight a custody case for my daughter. She didn’t want to waste money with excess communication, and fought for me hard in court. She made me feel comfortable at trial and offered support and helped get my witnesses more comfortable. Thank you so much Melinda, I appreciate you and your aids hard work. thank you."
"Always have been there for my family when I need to talk to her she is on time I highly recommend Melinda brown thank you so much for being here for us"
"Had an initial consultation with her and she said she would prepare the paperwork and send it over to me for review. Two weeks pass and nothing. Emailed and called with no response. 5 weeks go by and we finally get in contact and she said she’s been on vacation and had other pressing matters. Told me I can get another attorney. Why isn’t zero stars an option?"
"I called needing help with my case, I need someone to represent me, answer questions I have about my case, and how it may effect me in court, and what I needed to do with my restraining order, and the lady at the desk wouldn’t even listen to me. She kept telling me “I’m not understanding what you want Melinda to do, she has a retainer of $4,000”……… lady, I never said I didn’t want to pay a retainer, I never said any of that. I have questions (that obviously this lady couldn’t answer) and would like to speak with an attorney about my concerns…she then proceeded to tell me, “well I don’t know what to tell you, Melinda is booked out weeks, and I don’t know what your asking and what she can help you with” Seriously lady!!! I want to get an attorney to help me with my case… is that hard to understand? I didn’t have the patience to speak anymore, it’s hard enough to deal with this trauma, this man had abused me for years, and she was unwilling to listen whatsoever. I hung up the phone bawling!! I feel so hopeless as it is already! I’ve been in fear for my life! Why won’t someone listen? Am I talking to walls??? I am so sick of the lack of help there is for woman of domestic abuse. I had to hang up… Is this process going to be this hard just to get someone to speak with me about my rights? About my safety? And to represent other woman who isolated to speak up against their abusers before it gets to late… Sorry Melinda, I was willing to pay whatever was needed to protect myself from my abuser, but not by someone I don’t feel will support me in the office."
