"Wasted a trip to this West Marine because the online inventory system is worthless. Inventory should be almost at the max of what they carry of this item, but they were out. Employee stated that is basically normal and didn't offer any solutions except the other store which is on the other side of Portland. Went to order online, and there is a shipping fee unless of course I make another trip to the store. This could have been handled in many other ways, but the nonchalant attitude of both the local store employees and the online employees drove me to write this review. Since I can't trust the inventory or the customer service, I will just take my business elsewhere..."
