"We've been a Guidepost family at South Beaverton for almost 2 years and we love our school and staff at GMSB! We've attended other daycares/schools previously but the staff, leadership, and curriculum is why we choose to stay here. All the guides are so welcoming, warm, and make it a point to learn the children's names and their families. The social-emotional skills they are learning everyday is one of the factors most important to me when choosing a school. The guides are very intentional, modeling empathetic and kind language with the kids. With the consistency at both home and school, my kids have developed skills to communicate respectfully with others and discuss their feelings and emotions. It has abled them to take care of their self and community. My husband and I love learning from the kids what their lessons were each day. I was amazed when my oldest was 3, knowing the names of all 7 continents and able to point them out on a map. My 2 year old proudly counts to 10 in three languages (English, Spanish, and Mandarin) and can independently dress himself. Most important, at the end of the day, my kids are happy there. When I pick them up, they're smiling and excited to tell me about their day. They've built friendships both in and outside of school with families at SB and we're so thankful to be a part of this community!"

"Our 2 year old daughter attends this school and we couldn't be happier with the space, curriculum and staff. The enrollment process was easy and the staff is knowledgeable and professional. The school and curriculum overall seem really organized as well. We get pictures everyday showing the types of "work" that our daughter does during the day, such as washing windows, sorting shapes, putting puzzles together, painting at the easel, etc. She does between 5-9 concentrated activities per day! Guidepost Montessori South Beaverton doesn't just watch our daughter during the day, they are teaching her self-reliance and responsibility and stimulating her growing brain in a way that is age-appropriate and rigorous. She also has a great time! We couldn't recommend this place more!"
