"This review is in response to a Facebook listing and sale for a Tucker saddle. The merchandise itself was actually quite good, and I have no complaints about that. However, Robin's interactions with me as a customer were abysmal. Robin accepted an offer for the saddle,and then slow-played the completion of the sale. During this time (2-3 weeks), when asked by another prospective buyer, she said the saddle was still for sale. When I protested this, she announced she "forgot" that we had an accepted offer, despite the fact that multiple emails had gone back and forth between us. She was clearly hoping to get a higher offer than the one she accepted from me. The final insult was to try to pass along her PayPal seller's fees to me as a buyer. When I pointed out that this was inappropriate and against PayPal's terms of service, she said: a) this was her standard practice (??!!) b) she "forgot" to mention this practice in her listing and our conversations c) that I got a great deal on the saddle and that if I wanted to walk away from the deal over being forced to pay the PayPal seller's fee (while admitting she got a higher offer from the alternate buyer) I was free to do so. She was of course hoping I would do exactly that. Bottom line? I would never do business with Robin again."
