"I was feeling a little under the weather and wanted to get out and get some fresh air with my boyfriend. We got a light lunch and went here in hopes of a nice quiet, private place to sit and eat. Would have been much nicer if, as soon as we parked and began to picnic in the car, if the random lady pulled her car right in front of us. Not that she just parked in front of us, but she parked with her vehicle facing ours. Like nose to nose in front of us. Like I said I wasn't feeling well so I was all bundled up and comfy in my seat and wasn't up for getting out to use the benches. She literally sat there, staring the entire time. Super awkward and uncomfortable. Like wow lady, could you be any more up in our business!"
"In general I do like this park. I have never witnessed it be crowded. It's great for dog walkers and picnicking. I feel it could use a few more picnic tables. I also think some tall-ish hedges bordering the front of the park would allow visitors to feel significantly more comfortable during their visit. My reasoning behind that suggestion is largely due to experiencing more than a few of the surrounding neighbors staring/watching my dog and I during the entire duration of our visit. I'm not the only person who has experienced such a thing. I've not only heard many others complain about having the same experience but I've also had that experience myself every time I've visited the park. I've been visiting the park for over 10 years now and it's something that has always happened. It used to give me a really eerie feeling when I first noticed it, but I'm used to it at this point. However I do know more than a few people who refuse to visit or walk their dogs there because of it."
"This is a Memorial Park that goes back to the pioneer era, they called them Trailblazers. Nice quaint little park, by a grade school. No restrooms or drinking fountain."
"Love this quiet little place for lunches or time with grandkids."
