"A civilization is judged by how it treats the least of us. What does that say for Grant's Pass? Grants Pass wants to criminalize being homeless. "Not in our city" people cry when it comes to addressing the situation. So if not your city, which city? Isn't that sentiment the same as every city across the nation? Instead of taking responsibility for the conditions that keep human beings safe and secure by addressing their lack of services provided, this city is going to ticket and jail them. This sends chills down my spine. Instead of accepting that homelessness had ALWAYS been a part of our history and finding ways to make it part of the cities cast of citizenry Grant's Pass wants to jail human beings for their failures as the ones responsibility for creating the environment that breeds homelessness. What's the new city motto? "If you don't pay rent we want you to not live here, stay in our jail or die." ? Because they can't supply the simplest easiest option to the situation which would be ACCEPT it. I could write a book on why cities like Grant's Pass should be shamed and penalized for this 'NO Camping' ban because it's core beliefs are an affront to every citizen's rights because telling someone that unless they pay rent somewhere they're a criminal is disgusting. Grant's Pass gets an F- for how it treats human beings. When ya'll go to meet your maker maybe he should treat you the way you treated others. Shame on you."
"Tom the bldg inspector does a great job helping the diy homeowner with codes and getting things done right. I appreciate the time he and Aaron take to help out."
"Alicia (or Elicia) was incredibly helpful over the phone."
"They charge for items not received and dont help repair the water/sewer flow issues. Ugh."
"Worst service you can get! If you can avoid using them, I'd highly recommend you do so. I've had nothing but issues with lack of customer service, inability to keep statements organized, and being charge for services that you never received."
