"i moved from Miami to Portland and i got the apartment trough’s the website and signed contract set everything online,once i arrived i was supposed to meet someone on saturday 9th, i am here with my stuff and no one is here to give me the key from the apartment and there is no way to contact anybody, property doesn’t have management on site and they dont work thursdays trough saturday ,i have to pay a hotel . i regret to signed a year contract without seeing the place …"

"UPDATE 11/30 The apartment is up to date and as advertised. New Mgmt Company, Edge, communicates well so far. The phone is answered, and by a knowledgeable person who can help. Voicemail is picked up and answered. Text messages to the nominal managers are answered. Maintenance is friendly and capable, serving multiple buildings so there may be delays. BUT Manager is not on site. The "Open" hours on some websites are by appointment only. UPDATE 10/15 The floorplan I needed unexpectedly became available on another floor. Again, I tried website 'Contact' plus text and email, left a voicemail during office hours.... .... and I got a callback from leasing pro Nessa P.(!!!) Nessa completed my application, started the background check, and took a deposit to hold the apartment, all in under an hour of my time. She's an intelligent, capable pro. PLEASE talk to the LIVE leasing pro rather than believing any AI promises. Office hours are on the website. _____________________ WEEKS EARLIER When completing my Rentcafe application, I had a critical question. Weeks of appeals to Goose Hollow and Thrive -- via calls, website, email, texts -- yielded only AI promises of a prompt reply, over and over. RentCafe called me the "primary" applicant, so I kept trying. Today, at last on a live call, I learned business ethics are not involved here. Thrive don't use "primary" the same way. While they weren't responding with info on my application, someone else got the apartment. Please, don't trust anything but a LIVE leasing pro at Goose Hollow, IF you can contact one."

"Son and his girlfriend moved in on 9/30/23. Still so not have a working refrigerator/freezer. It’s now 11/12/23. Moved him next door to a drug addicted mentally unstable neighbor. They offered to transfer him to a different unit. But the new lease does not reflect a free transfer fee. Therefore he can not sign it. Impossible to reach staff. Never anyone on sight or in the office. We have left over 20 voicemails with only a few calls back. The last email they replied to they did not even address the refrigerator or the new lease agreement. Told him he could move out and break the lease with no fee assessed. Do not move into Goose hollow. Horrible experience!!"

"Went to a scheduled showing I had scheduled with Nessa last week that was suppose to be for today 11/2 at 11am. Nobody was there and I called multiple different numbers because there is multiple numbers listed for this property. Finally got in contact with someone around 11:20 stating they work at a different property and they would get in contact with someone to see if they’d be available to give me a tour. They gave me a call 10 minutes later stating Pierre would be there within 15 minutes to show me the apartment, and guess what? 20 mins past and nobody showed up!! Wasted about an hour of my day. After looking at the reviews it appears this isn’t the first time this has occurred. Very frustrating I took time out of my work day to drive from Beaverton to SW Portland just to not get any heads up about bailing on my appointment."

"Edit: it is extremely difficult to get into contact with any staff. I haven’t heard from the office in weeks despite repeated attempts. Many difficulties getting in contact with office staff, but I have had my issues resolved with some persistence by contacting Thrive itself. Otherwise the apartments have everything you need. There can be a trash buildup though in the garbage room and the elevator needs to be cleaned more frequently. If they had a cleaning service actually clean the garbage room maybe the fruit flies would stop invading the apartments."
