"Before renting with Rock Creek Apartments, consider checking out Carla Properties' corporate office reviews. I wish I had - it would have been a red flag. Once you move in, Rock Creek is responsive, but when you move out, they pass you off to Carla Properties, which is their corporate office, who are unresponsive to concerns and don't return calls. Plus, the apartments get unbearably hot in the summer, not worth the $2000 rent. Just a heads up - good luck dealing with them!"
"The staff and move in paperwork were very efficient and clearly laid out. The office is available and pretty responsive. The property is maintained. There are at least three units here actively selling cars as a form of income so it is like a used car lot here. The sellers take up several of the guest parking spaces and vehicles sit for weeks or months without state plates, expired tags, expired trip permits, no plates or permits, or improperly parked. The grounds are pretty to look at, there is a nice walking trail behind the buildings where you can see cows, a horse, bunnies, birds and pick berries. The majority of neighbors are really nice. There is a high percentage of People here who are retired or work from home, so it reduces the chances for shenanigans which is good. The lawns are overwatered so if you have small ones are pets and had hopes to enjoy the grassy areas they are filled with standing water and puddles. They are pet friendly, which is extremely nice. There are many dogs here, some units have as many as four so if your dog is not social or friendly, this would not be a good place for your pet. There is no designated dog park area but they do have several nice grassy areas with poo bags and disposal cans provided which is a nice benefit."
"I’ve been living here for about 7 months now and I really love this place. First off, a lot of reviewers were mentioning a certain office employee in past reviews and I have to say that this person has been absolutely professional, caring, and helpful whenever I interact with them. Same goes for the rest of the office staff including maintenance. I’m continually thankful for their help whenever I have questions or requests. Second, I really love the people that are living here. Everyone in my building is so friendly. It really makes a difference when you get home from work everyday and there’s always someone to say hi to. As for the apartment I live in, I live in a one bedroom and it’s perfect for me. It’s a lot larger than other apartments I’ve had. The kitchen is SO nice. Everything about the apartment is nice."
"In the three years we lived at Rock Creek Ridge we never had an issue with the front office staff; the one person other reviewers call out had been nothing but great to us so I have no idea what demands they made on her that she would have to push back against. Another bright spot, the maintenance staff, those two guys were fantastic and very respectful, cannot say enough about how great my experience with them were. I only had two issues, residents that were disrespectful to others and the apartment at the garbage dumpster and the noise from the Fred Meyer. Regardless, our three years there were very good for us."
