"While the apartments are newer, we have had ongoing issues with parking and noise complaints since arrival. Noise complaints have been reported to management for over 5 months now and their response has been this needs to be caught on camera or else they are unable to follow through with the complaints. Parking has also been an ongoing issue with not enough parking spots to support the number of units. Staff have also expressed frustration with limited parking and management is unable to provide any information regarding where tenants (or guests) can park once street spots are fully taken by 3pm each day. If you drive by this apartment complex you will see for yourself cars parked in unmarked spots to try and accommodate, but they are regularly ticketed. Would highly advise considering these concerns before making Timberview your home."
"New update: Most concerns have been fixed or addressed! So happy to have a complex that is diligent and willing to work with their residents! Dog poop bags have been installed. Trash pickup is almost everyday. Parking is still hard but that will take time and development. However people need to stop using 1 dumpster and walk to the one dedicated to their building! There's always trash on the ground, it's disgusting... People don't pickup after their pets still so that's annoying. And reserved spots are a joke... People will park in them anyways. Sept 2023: Staff is very nice and welcoming. It's pretty safe and in a good location. They try to keep it clean. Austin is very kind. Negatives or some concerns... Dog poop. Lots of it. Please pickup after your pets! There's literally poop on the concrete by an entrance... Parking is fun. It's like a warzone lol. I'm trying to understand why people who have garages or even pay extra for spots insist on taking other people's reserved spots? Don't be surprised when you get towed. Yes you can hear things from the hallways, I wouldn't expect it to be 100% silent, but when it comes to between walls I haven't noticed it much. I can just barely hear footsteps, and music is only noticeable if windows are open or you're in the hallways. Trash/dumpster area... people from other complexes will use other dumpsters because it's convenient, causing the building's to be overfilled. Instead they should use the ones dedicated to their complex so that they don't overfill. Dumpsters fill QUICK and people don't put their trash into the dumpster half the time. The complex is supposed to be installing doggy poop bags, I hope this solves the issue of pet owners not cleaning up after their pets! The last thing you want is wet dog poop on your shoes or smelling up the area. Lets pick up after ourselves and our doggos! :) The staff, including maintenance, is very helpful and kind. The units are super nice. I'd like to keep this community clean! I just wish other tenants would respect the grounds and pickup after themselves including their furry friends! Overall it's not the complex that has issues..."
"These are nice newer apartments, we are the first ones to live in the new apartment. Considering that these are newer apartments they are already falling apart. They are cheaply made, they used rubber baseboards in the bathrooms that are already coming off the wall. The cabinets everywhere are uneven. The mirrors seem like they will fall down when you clean them. The floors get dirty fast and we don’t wear shoes in our apartment. The floor creeks already. On the big window in the living room they didn’t break up the blinds so it’s one big blind and it’s super heavy to move up and down and constantly breaking. They are really nice apartments but definitely should have done a better walk through before renting them out. As for parking it’s absolutely horrendous. We can’t have family over because there is no parking and like another resident said the townhomes have 4 cars each and take up parking plus the handicap parking. My handicapped grandparents can’t even find parking because the townhome residents are always parked in the one and only handicapped spot near our building. The townhomes don’t use their garages and they triple park in there drive ways making it hard to pull in and out of our reserved parking spot. Next is constantly having to dodge land mines of dog poop everywhere. They put up waste baskets with poop bags but residents don’t seem to know how to clean up after their animals. I’ve stepped in poop almost every week now. The least they can do is put a hose outside so I can wash my shoes off instead of in my guest bathroom tub which is absolutely disgusting and have to bleach it after. Last but not least is the building on the first floor smells like a casino and/ or a marijuana smokers den. It either smells like cigarettes or weed and after complaining about this because we have a newborn it didn’t seem to get resolved and considering there is a no smoking policy you would think they would fix that. We can’t even open our windows or walk out on to our balcony because of the smoke. Last thing is the walls are thin, we live on the third floor and can hear the people below us when usually it’s the other way around and my favorite this is walking down the hall and can hear everybody’s conversations in their apartments."
"Horrible parking especially since the tenants who have town homes refuse to park cars in their garage and take up street parking and handicap parking instead. When you ask about this we are told you can't have a car parked in a space for longer than 3 days and if we need more spots we can rent a garage. But yet town home residents have garages and still don't use them to store their vehicles and take up the very limited parking spaces for all the other residents. If you own more than 1 car stay far away from this complex. But if you own one car it's an amazing place to live and very updated with a and they have a dog wash station that has a blower to dry the dogs off which is super helpful also the staff is amazing and super helpful as well."
"I've lived here 4 months now and there are great things about this place and a lot of bad things to take into account if deciding to live here. I will start with the good to start apartments are secure only buildings meaning key fob or access code to enter buildings. The complex is very well kept and clean and office staff are friendly to speak with and are usually in the office most the of the time. Now onto the bad the first MAJOR thing to take into account is the parking in this complex is beyond awful! They expect you to have 1 vehicle per house hold no matter the apartment size. So if your planning to have a roommate just don't bother you will end up being towed for not parking in the designated spot. The "FREE" space parking will always be filled by 5pm in this complex so that isn't available either. Also if you park in the wrong direction on either side of the street they will contact local authorities to come give you a citation for incorrect parking or parking in the wrong direction. No warnings or phone calls or emails from the office team on this issue just a cop giving you a ticket to harm your insurance rates. Another issue outside of parking is folks above you yes I understand it is an apartment but you will hear folks walking around a lot thankfully all you hear is walking and not any voices but you will hear loud music if someone is playing some again I am aware of apartment living just wanting to point it out. Other than that it is a good place apartments are good quality and haven't had issues with them yet but do take these situations into account before moving here. Hope this helps give some perspective"
