"Absolutely Beautiful place. Windy all the time but the trees block off a lot of it. It's clean and beautiful. Plenty of trails to explore. The bathrooms and showers are clean and nice. Bon fires are allowed. The lighthouse was closed because of structure issues. No tours. But it was still beautiful. Staying here for 8 days. Plenty of room we have a 27ft fifth wheel and truck and our families truck and also there tent. Plenty of space. Hosts really nice. Love it and so worth coming again."
"Absolutely gorgeous location. The sites are all seated deeply in the trees providing for a good level of privacy and protection from the heavy sea wind. The amenities are excellent and well maintained, you can tell the staff and the volunteers take great pride in their park. The trails are well maintained and the lookout areas provide amazing vistas of the ocean. Beach access is steep but paved and can be accessed by vehicle. The only slight negative was nothing that can be controlled and that is the aggressive wind gusts that never stopped while we were there. However, a small price to pay for the overall experience of staying here. Everyone around us was extremely respectful and quiet. The rates are fair for the site and its amenities, firewood was well priced at $5 per bundle."
"Get off 101 away from the highway noise and enjoy the serene setting that is Cape Blanco. It'll likely be windy, but the campground is protected from it and perched on the most divine Pacific overlook with sweeping views of the sea. Sites are very private on average. Bathrooms are super clean and well maintained. Did I mention the hot showers? Beach access isn't necessarily easy, but it's doable, secluded, and compellingly uncrowded."
"Very pretty campground. Most sites give you some seclusion. Very clean restroom and showers. The beach is a "long" way down the trail/road but we'll worth the walk. Follow the trail out to the Sixes River mouth. About 1 mile round trip, fantastic views on a beach that has very few visitors."
