Reviews of Linn County Historical Museum
"Starzjeepcrew always stops once a year for Stand by me weekend or as tradition self guided tour with friends if we can't make it that weekend. This museum is the most informative in oregon."
"I personally enjoyed the small, old fashion theater set up. We got to pick out our desired VHS to watch from an array of choices. Mouse Hunt was our choice. Lots of history to look at. Free admission, though donations are encouraged to keep them up and running."
"The museum is a fantastic place to learn local history for the Mid-Willamette Valley. The volunteers are knowledgeable, dedicated, and kind. The artifacts are fascinating. Take a walk past the Halsey Bank or study a map of the indigenous Calapooia prehistoric mounds. You can even watch Stand By Me in the little theater!"
"Wonderful ladies who work here- they are very knowledgeable about the history of Linn County and the museum is so fun! I love the interactive exhibits like loading an Oregon trail wagon or dressing up like the people from the time! I also really liked their caboose exhibit. I think having the boxcars included in the layout of the museum is clever and unique, and the sweatshirt I got was both affordable and super comfortable!"
