Reviews of Newport Historic Bayfront
"We got lucky, went to the bay and slept close to the dock and listened to the sea lions and seals all night. They were posing for pictures and cutting up like little kids. Watching them really made me very happy. What an incredible experience. Hope I can go back again one day!"
"Quaint, cute, lots of food and shops, enjoyed the waterfront. Wall mural art that I find beautiful. Areas to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. I try to stop each time I'm in the area."
"Must see this area when coming to Newport or you would be missing out. Such a beautiful sight. There are boardwalks and markers to tell yiyu some of the town's history. Be sure to listen to and find the sea liona. It wount be too hard. Lots of restaurants and gift shops in the surrounding areas."
"Nice place to window shop and get a bit to eat. Check out the seal dock to see the sea lions sleeping and swimming around the docks. Good fresh sea food restaurants and candy/ice cream shops if you need something sweet! Beautiful view of the bay and the bridge from the docs."
"This place has such an amazing collection of shops and restaurants, am somewhat disappointed I didn't get to go to all of them. Has something I've never seen anywhere else: a dock surrounded by barking sea lions at all hours of the day. Was insanely cute and fascinating. Many of the buildings also have beautiful murals painted on the sides, all marine life themed. The view of the water, pier, and bridge is stunning from here, and you get to see all of the ships and things coming by less than a stone's throw away"
