"A beautiful historic cemetery that stands as a monument to the earliest of Lake Oswego's pioneer settlers. Located just off the side of Stafford Road, this cemetery memorializes the histories of the men and women who once called this community home. This is iconically the resting place of many members of the Prosser Family, who once owned an iron mine in the late 1800's near downtown Lake Oswego. The location is beautiful, with the plots, trees, and flowers obviously well taken care of. The hours are from dawn until dusk, and the cemetery is never very busy. You can visit a family plot, pay your respects, or plan a new funeral after the death of a loved one with options for a traditional burial, an above ground mausoleum, or space to place cremated remains."
