"Decently priced. Clean, I like my neighbors. I like that it’s pet friendly. Never had any issue with bugs or mice/rats. I like the big porches and the tree belt behind the complex. It’s located very conveniently, but away from main roads and kind of hidden. When we first moved in in 2021 our car was broken into 3 times, but most of Salem has that issue now.. Oregon changed the law to allow landlords to raise rental prices a hefty amount and they haven’t raised them too much at a time. Maintenance is pretty chill and responds quickly. The new guy who did inspections seemed to care about the tenants and got some things fixed up like getting us more dryers. It’s not the cutest, but it’s comfortable and clean. We will see if I still like the complex when I move out. (If they give me my deposit back ahaha)"

"The laundry room is down to two dryers for a complex of 32 units and right now all we have is four washers and two dryers that are working, that people can use as of right now."

"The Craigslist ads make this place look very beautiful, and they say they are move in ready. I make an appointment to view a unit a day in advance, saying I was coming from an hour away, looking to change cities. We arrived 5 minutes early and waited for 10 minutes before a maintenance guy asked if we are looking for someone. We said we were looking for Samantha, and that we had an appointment to see an open apartment. He called her, then told us she was unavailable. (after we had made an appointment and drove an hour!). He told us we could look at the unit he was cleaning. It was FILTHY and NO WHERE near 'move in ready' as the ad had said, and he told us it was the only available unit, so there was no misunderstanding, just lies and false advertising! The kitchen looked NOTHING like the pictures. This poor maintenance guy was stuck trying to make excuses for an incompetent manager. I would never live anywhere thats run by someone like that."
