Reviews of The Bailey at Amazon Creek Apartments
"Had 3 bikes stolen from in front of "Security Vehicle" for the complex, later after storing bikes inside had a 2009 Ford Escape stolen, complex said they would review the tapes but there was no follow up after reaching out repeatedly. The repair staff is good when they can get to you, but seems overworked and understaffed. For the high rent price, not great overall. There are a lot of amenities that most tenants do not use, and I would think tenants would better appreciate more maintenance staff and better security or lower rent."
"We lived at The Bailey for three years. I really enjoyed our time living here. It was the best apartment experience we’ve ever had. The pools, and hot tub were always clean. The environment was always clean as well. If anything broke they got to it quickly!"
"I don’t recommend living here I honestly regret moving here! I moved here back in may so I’ve only been here for 7 months, and when I first moved in it wasn’t cleaned very well, and my washer wasn’t working my first night in here. I had to sleep with no blanket bc the washer stopped working on me. It didn’t get fixed till the next day. there are stains under the toilet. And I’ve tired getting them out multiple times, im on the very bottom floor and the neighbors above me are extremely LOUD, I’ve called and told management about it they didn’t do anything a thing it. And it’s hard because I get off work super late in the mornings. And it’s hard to sleep because they’ll be stomping around and won’t stop. It goes on almost every night. Till like 4:00am sometimes longer. I’ve kindly asked them to be quiet and they purposely started being even louder. Not only that but theirs homeless people behind my building that camp out. A few months back I got talked to because a friend stoped by for a quick second to visit and parked in someone’s spot to back out I got in trouble for that. I absolutely dislike them they are belittling and are disgusting attitude towards me, not to mention all the notices I’ve gotten, I was going to give this 2bed a try, and they tried saying it smells like “weed” first of all I do not smoke I physically can’t I’m allergic to weed and I’ll break out in hives and they tried saying I did. And I got in trouble for lighting a candle and incense. But everyone i know that lives here smokes weed in their house and lights candles and stuff. Not only that I got a notice for a very small amount of things on my patio… it was a small box full of stuff a old friend of mine at the time was supposed to come pick up and didn’t and I also got in trouble for that. And I went around the complex and took pictures. Because everyone else has things on their patio that’s more then what I had. I keep getting charged and I’m having to pay more then what I was before as well. They’re not communicative at all. I have to call multiple times in order to find out information or just go In the office myself. I agree a lot with a lot of the bad reviews on here for this complex I only moved here because it was convenient for my job. And I personally hate it here. I regret moving here to begin with."
"I entirely regret my entire time living here. Below is a list of problems I experienced during my stay. If you don't believe me, take the time to go interview current tenants. The complex is right next to a field where many homeless people camp. My locked car had been stolen out of multiple times. Other people got things stolen out of their cars and off their patio. It did not feel safe there due to the lack of security. I have never seen such employee AND tenant turnover. They'll be super nice and attentive, then ask you to leave a review. After that, expect nothing. Very first night there, they failed to provide us with a parking tag. Told us to just park under the ports. "It's fine", they said. Apparently parked in someone's space and they took a swing at me as I was trying to apologize and explain. They ignored our carpet beetle problem. I put in multiple requests for pest control. We had hardwood floors and no carpeting. I had no idea how to get rid of them. I also requested a specialty bulb be replaced. They kept "completing" and closing the ticket same day without doing anything. My roommate put in a ticket and it got resolved immediately. (Discrimination?) Constantly got "no smoking" warnings on my door when someone in the building was smoking weed. A front office employee even called me a "stoner" to my face. I have advanced lung disease and am on oxygen. I don't smoke anything, period. This went on for about 6 months. When my locked car was stolen out of the parking space I pay for, they just told me "Sorry our cameras don't face our lots". A few times a month we would get solicitors. The complex never reinforced no soliciting and would not let us post a sign. Noisy neighbors they refused to do anything about. The people above us had "problem children" and refused to talk to me about it. Contacted the apartment complex and they told me there is nothing they can do. The noise was constant. All day. 5am to 10pm. Stomping. Screaming. Slamming doors. It was LOUD. When Covid hit, I worked from home. I lost multiple clients due to the noisy neighbors. Complex still told me they couldn't do anything. Took 2 years to settle a $100 dishwasher damage claim that wasn't our fault. A seal/gasket went bad. When I moved out, they tried sticking us with an $11,000 "pet damage" bill. When really this was an effort for an excuse to remodel. I had an 8lb 8 year old spayed cat. She did NOT do eleven THOUSAND dollars worth of damage. If any. She was trained and had plenty of her own cat furniture and toys to damage. We saw $0 of our $2500 security deposit. Please, please go somewhere else."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE. These apartments are nice enough, but I lived here for four years and they raised the rent consistently every year I renewed my lease. When I asked why the increase, the reason given is that they have “occupancy goals” that they have to maintain, and if they are not meeting them, they will raise the rent of the residents, EVEN IF you are renewing for another 12 month lease. During this time, however, they’ve added several new amenities and pieces of equipment in their gym, including a stairmaster! Moving out has been a complete nightmare. They’re claiming it cost $530 to replace the carpet in the master bedroom, and charged another $270 for basic “cleaning”. We spent three days cleaning the apartment and they still claim we incurred this charge. When I called the number advised to call on the bottom of the final bill a week after moving from The Bailey, I was rudely informed by the rep from Greystar that my account was too new to be able to review, and that I would need to wait 30 days before my account could be advised on. On top of all of this, the walls are so so thin. One person closing their front door rattles the entire building. I’m not sure about building codes, but it is worth noting that the studs within the walls are not evenly spaced throughout the unit we resided in, so I imagine it’s similar for the rest of the complex. Parking is a nightmare. If you have one car in your household, your one covered spot will be okay. Multicar households will have to fight every evening for a spot that isn’t in the back corner of the complex, where my roommate experienced several car break ins, and I found evidence of someone trying to steal my wheels. This is a warning from me to you. Do. Not. Move. Here."
