Reviews of Fairfield Village Apartments
"I love our manager Debbie. She embraced my concerns the minute she said one word and her internet was down during the ice storm. I won’t ever forget her kindness!! She went above and beyond my expectations. Huge balcony, decent size 1 bed and doable prices."
"Worst layout, apartments are mostly on the inner area with no labels making it almost impossible to find a unit for a delivery! Very frustrating and disappointing for Fairfield Village Apartments need unit numbers listed in a way; so drivers can locate you, up to and including emergency services!"
"I would give a negative star if I could. I moved out, giving notice. Cleaned my apartment, going above and beyond. Replaced drip pans, even filling the nail holes in the walls. I read negative reviews before, but did not think it would happen to me. Well low and behold, here I am now writing a negative review. This is the 1st time in all my years of renting where I have barely gotten any of my deposit back. They are crooks and I mean it when I say that. They will charge you for anything they possibly can to keep your deposit, so they can continue to line their fat pockets. There is good reason why they have such bad reviews. I am also led to believe the reviews they do have, which are positive, are fake. They seem to not know the meaning of "normal wear and tear" either. These apartments are run down, and extremely outdated. The walls are paper thin, so If you want to hear EVERY single noise your neighbors make, then maybe this is the place for you. If you want to pay WAY too much for a crappy apartment, then this is the place for you. I have pleaded my case several times with them, when it has come to the cleanliness of the place I moved out of, but they do not give a damn what you have to say, you are wrong, while they are right. They only care about money, and not the needs/wants of their tenants, nor do they care to listen. Umbrella properties is truly evil."
"My apartment was INFESTED with house moths, couldn’t keep any food in the house because the moths would lay eggs in it. I made noise complaint after noise complaint. Neighbors are all druggies. The walls are so thin you can hear people doing nasty stuff. I got my car broken into THREE times in ONE month. No security cameras anywhere because they’re “too expensive” yet we pay almost 1000$ a month for a dive apartment. Manager wasn’t open Friday-Sunday which is odd and often very inconvient on the Friday part. There was once I sign on the managers door saying “closed because the manager is a dick”. Very unprofessional sometimes. When I walked in to sign papers I was maybe 5 minutes late and her husband was yelling at her from her living room saying to make me wait until another day because I was a few minutes late and she didn’t have her teeth in. Worst place I’ve ever lived. I paid 1400$ to break my lease and move the hell out of there."
"Apartments are typical old apartments (look like a cheap motel on the outside), nothing is fantastic, except maybe the pool, in the summer. It is next to a nice gradeschool, fairly new. Downside is the type of people who live here & in the neighborhood. I wouldn't trust anyone to keep my door unlocked, but I suppose that's everywhere."
