"Maintenance service response for water pipe broke. No one bothers to answer their emergency service line. They turned off the water to the building without informing anyone in advance, only to send out the most vague email, 4 hours later, to say by the way, we turned it off, not sure when we’ll turn it back on, hopefully within next day. We ran out of drinking water in the house in the middle of an ice storm so we couldn’t even leave the complex to buy more water. Tried to call them back again at the emergency service without anyone answer."
"Wait, after a terrible experience trying to get into this place with ample enough income that was reported to me as lower than I really make, given strange options after seeing this torn down, worn down apartment, this management company has never to send their blanket statement to me apologizing with the same statement this organization sends everyone?!? A copy and paste? This is the same copy and paste you'll receive when your car is broken into, or someone parks in your stall, or you call their patrol only to find he can't help you , or the management doesn't answer ( I walked in on two of the agents, legs draped over the arms of a recliner!, chatting with each other, ignoring the continued phone rings!). Not only this, there was a mid 20's kid sitting right on the balcony in a chair smoking off of a glass pipe, with a torch, clearly not marijuana. I saw this, looked over at the leasing agent and she acted as though she didn't see that person! Weird!! If you like dead ends results, broken appliances where you are told you'll need to call an outside agency, a patrolman who cant enforce anything but the local menu at a diner or fast food restaurant , be their guest! I am 100% confident that this truth as well as the reviews are spot on. My research found that the positive reviews were prompted by an Amazon gift card! Good luck! You'll need it here."
"Those of you who have "nothing bad to say" are afraid of retaliation. You have Zero idea of your rights under the Fair Housing Act, a HUD complaint, that you're not getting evicted for posting the truth. I was baited by a low price as a student, filled out an application against the terrible reviews and a tour that I barged in on the office only to find both agents sitting, talking. All the while complaints are rampant about them not answering the phone. Took 2 days to call me back but they were yakking full on. I walked the apartment with my partner, went home and applied, the website and price jumped $400 and when asked, was told that was a set price for that unit. "Jordan" called me stating I made less than 2.5 times the amount when in fact, what that person quoted me after sending 4 paystubs! was lower than what I really make. My dad said that person gave a shoddy excuse and lied to me, threw a hurdle in front of me. weirdly, I was hinted that I could put someone's name on the lease as 2 people using the unit or get a co signer. Shaaaady. My dad was pissed! Dad told me, if you want it, you tell them to get you in no matter what and Dad stated "I make 10-15 times what anyone in that building makes!" I told him I no longer wanted to get in as there is too many bad reviews, we would have to contract any plumbing, carpet, flooring, electrical or painting, woodwork maintenance out to contractors. If a $13 application fee means more than a guaranteed adulty paying over $1300 a month , even 6 months paid in advance, your loss! Don't bother, apparently there are spiders, addicts, loud music, car stall parkers, boarded windows, no timely response, an alleged security patrol that is lazy and doesn't respond to calls and so much more. I dodged a bullet."
"Lived there a little over 3years. The women in the office are amazing. Treat them with respect and kindness and you'll get it back 10fold. The maintenance guys are rock stars. Any emergency was fixed on the spot and non emergency was fixed in a day or 2. I gave 4 because no place is perfect. Most of the neighbors were pretty awesome but there's always a few jackals in the bunch. Maybe getting a little to high priced. Those would be my only gripes."
"I have no complaints about the apartment itself, and management was always very kind and helpful. However, in the year we lived there, it felt like the area got much worse. Especially in the last few months, there were always interesting people walking through the complex that didn’t live there (dumpster diving, just hanging out, writing weird messages in chalk, etc.). It quickly became a place we didn’t want to be anymore. Again, no complaints about the apartment. The remodeled ones are cute, and ours had a nice view of the lake."
