"my wife and i have lived at 8150 for a few years and recently moved to purchase a home . we very much enjoyed living there and appreciated the staffs treatment during our time there. we can highly recommend to people looking for an apt home to choose 8150."
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is the worst place I have ever lived!! Dog feces everywhere, fitness room was out of order for a YEAR, they never fixed anything I asked them to AND they ripped me off when I moved out. Charged me nearly 3,000 dollars for bogus charges. To top it off, there is a “manager” NS, who is a horrible excuse for a human being who always felt the need to put me in my place when I raised concerns. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Oh, and don’t give me your “new management” garbage. I moved out after new management took over and it was still complete TRASH. And NS was still there, being his jerk self. Ugh!"
"Do not move here. This was the worst rental experience of my life. I’ll just share my exit from this facility. Last December I had my lease end and I did not renew. I was in the process of moving across the country so I had to leave a few weeks before my end date. I tried SEVERAL times to schedule a walk through. I was told they didn’t have any availability. This was over a two week span. I am a relatively neat person and have always been told by past landlords I am a freest tenant. I was charged excessive “cleaning and damages” fees. I was charged for damage of the carpets even though I am Japanese and don’t wear shoes in the house and had also steam cleaned the carpets personally before moving out and there was absolutely no stains. Additionally, I was charged almost $300 for painting and damages even though the only “damage” to the walls was small, tiny spackle holes that were in the lease OK to hang small wall ornaments. So right there almost $500 for what should be considered normal wear and tear of ANY tenant stay. I was also charged almost $76 to replace the drip pans on the stove even though they had minimal black residue since it’s a gas range. Again, normal wear and tear and on top of it drip pans that are used there are very clearly cheap ones from the Dollar Tree. I will admit I accidentally left a futon cushion in the spare bedroom to get disposed of but I honestly felt like that was the only justifiable charge on the itemized list that was sent to me. This list had a phone number to call to discuss or dispute any charges. I had tried calling and leaving messages well over 20 times without any response. The next thing I know is this was sent to collections. That is totally disrespectful and honestly a spineless move. I was a licensed realtor in Boston Massachusetts for several years that specializes in apartment/condo rentals. I was honestly disgusted and appalled with the charges billed to me and the utter lack of communication and respect to me regarding my attempts to discuss these charges. Take me to collections but when I needed things fixed in my apartment it took days if anyone ever even showed up. My private paid parking spot was always used by random cars and when I told management they gave me no assistance. They are dog friendly which is awesome but they don’t enforce any decency in cleaning up after your dog. There is literally feces all over common areas because some people don’t have common courtesy. In the event of snow don’t even think about driving up the only exit from the complex. It won’t be shoveled, salted, or plowed and unless you have AWD or chains you won’t get up the hill. You get charged for water which is fine but it’s split between the four apartments on your side on the building. It doesn’t differentiate between tenants regardless if you used a lot more or less. I’m a very conscious person and try to conserve water. I’m not blasting my neighbors but they would do multiple loads of laundry and take several LONG showers daily between whoever all was living there, so I was essentially being charged for THEIR use. I gave up on a leak that was on my outside porch when I first moved in whenever it rained. I contacted them like 8 times about it and no one ever came to check it out. I have more examples of why you should find another place to live in Portland/Beaverton. I don’t know if all Greystar facilities are like this, or just 8150 apartments. I hope for the public’s wellbeing it’s just this one."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE. Would give zero stars if that were an option. This place is a fraud and if you look at many other reviews you will see there is a pattern of them taking your money upon move out. Not only will they take your entire security deposit, they will charge you in addition to it. They are charging us $582 to replace the carpet that was 2 YEARS OLD. $760 to fully repaint the place. We were your average tenants. Took care of the place and didn’t cause damage outside of the average wear of just existing. They owed us $500 in compensation for flooding (had to fight for so long to get this compensation due to being in unlivable conditions because the apartment above us flooded into ours) that we never saw. A TERRIBLE place to live. They with come after every single dollar they can even after they’ve already taken so much. The most frustrating staff I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t have a clue what’s going on they just want your money."
"This is a review regarding the maintenance staff at 8150. I want to take time to recognize three maintenance staff that work here and have continuously provided fantastic customer service. Robert, Alfredo, and Dustin are superstars! All three gentleman are on the ball when it comes to helping this resident of 12 years. It is nice to have trust in all three staff so that I don’t have to worry about anyone inside my hideout. Robert, Alfredo, and Dustin are people I have developed trust in and there is no issue with any of them being inside my place and around my stuff while I am not there. It is important to me to have trust that my things will be left alone! Robert, Alfredo, and Dustin have always been clean, polite, friendly, and I consider them an essential part of the 8150 staff. Thank you to Robert, Alfredo, and Dustin! You three rock!"
