"UPDATE: IT'S NOT SAFE TO LIVE HERE!!!! The mold was at such a dangerous level in my apartment that we believe it caused harm to my family's health. We also had an independent inspection done for the mold and the report stated that the apartment was unsafe to be in without PPE. Absolutely horrible. Cigarette smoke fills my apartment daily. Trash is never put in the dumpster, they just throw the bags right in front of it. Neighbors are loud. Parking rules are never enforced- cars are always blocking the entrance and blocking areas that are not parking spots, so it makes it unsafe to drive. There are only two breakers for the entire apartment- which means you cannot have multiple appliances running without a breaker being blown. Insulation is horrible because of the windows, so prepare to live in an oven during the summer and live in a freezer during the winter. Mold in the apartments is very common. There's absolutely no storage - no linen closet or anything. Management was not truthful upon move-in promising new appliances, but this never happened - despite multiple emails referencing this recorded conversation. Carpet is extremely old and worn, appliances extremely old and worn, cabinets and floors extremely old and worn. Neighbors were lighting fireworks in the middle of the night. It's very disappointing because we intended to make this our home for a few years. No place for children to play so the parents let them run around the parking lot, making it dangerous to drive -I actually heard a kid get hit by a car last summer from my living room. Management no longer responds to my emails about issues. Also, the wrong mail is constantly put in my mailbox, and my mail at time DOES NOT arrive despite being shown it is supposed to via informed delivery and shown as delivered aka mail is regularly stolen. The windows and doors are not providing any protection against the wildfire smoke. Air quality in the apartments are at a dangerous level. The windows aren't double paned - and the windows, doors, and sliding door have gaps so smoke comes in the apartment even with all of them closed. IT IS NOT SAFE!!!"
"There is not enough parking for the people who live there. You are assigned one parking spot (which they state) and there are a few guest spots available. Do not expect to be able to park more than 1 vehicle on this premises. Guest spots are always full and there are no side streets nearby whatsoever. If you rent a 2 bedroom with 2 people who have 2 vehicles (like I did) you might just come home and not have anywhere to park. And there's not really anywhere else to park nearby so you are just out of luck. Other than that, my apartment was clean and cute (slightly smallish), with reasonable rent. But when I moved out they took 200 dollars out of my deposit to re-key the unit."
"This place was horrible!!! When we first moved in there were issues with the apartment documented in our paperwork. They were supposed to be fixed. After exchanging managing companies and staff twice that portion of our paperwork was conveniently "lost", and no one had any idea there were issues... Even though we constantly reported the same issues and referred back to our original agreement. After moving out and receiving notification that we were being charged, for the issues that were reported and never resolved, which we immediately disputed with management and the management company, we were sent directly to collections. Our experience in these apartments and with this management company are the worst we have ever encountered! Definitely DON'T move here!!!"
"Lived there through two owners, two property companies, and 9 different on site managers. In 4 years. The rent skyrocketed under the most recent company even above the generally high increase in rental prices in the area. They arbitrarily enforce rules. The new company repainted the parking lot when they took over and eliminated 11 spots in an already overcrowded parking lot. The laundry facilities are perpetually broken and I've never been refunded any of the money the machines took from me. When I moved in, the carpet was stained from cat pee and my subfloor needed to be replaced (amongst many other problems). My water heater blew without my knowledge; the water was unusually hot but I was unaware this was indicative of a problem. Over a month later, they contacted me to inform me that it needed to be replaced. It had been leaking scalding, rusty water through the external pipe that is shared between the 4 units on that side of that building. We'd all made complaints but it took them over a month to look into the problem. Once they finally fixed it and I received my electric bill, it was 600 for one month. They refused to pay even part of it even though it was their fault the excess energy usage went on so long. Given that they schedule so called maintenance inspections every two months or so, you'd think they'd be on top of maintenance problems. And yet every single request I submitted under both companies is magically not in my file. The rampant mold problem entirely took over the second bedroom in my unit but any attempt to have it addressed was ignored. When the new company took over, they instituted a no smoking rule (as in you can no longer smoke on your own patio) but didn't inform any of the long term tenants until we were in the office signing lease renewals. My lease specifically had "utilities paid by owner" checked, which I assume is a mistake on their part. But since they are trying to take me to collections for 1500 to replace the subfloor which, again, needed to be replaced when I moved in, they can just deduct my electric bill, which again, is so high because of their laziness, from the total. I never had a move in walk through despite numerous attempts to schedule one under both companies. Also, I received the notice of being sent to collections 4 days before they were legally allowed to do so. The two companies that ran the place while I was there were Norris & Stevens and Cambridge (the current company when I moved in February 2017). I strongly recommend avoiding both."
"The 5 star reviews are fake!! This place is a joke. There is no extra parking and if you park in a non parking spot she will tow your truck with a $300 fee. Apartments are small, everything breaks, maintance doesn't know what they are doing. Several tenants had to do their own repairs. Management is rally nice but with 0 experience. She has painters painting the place in the middle of winter ( rain season) and they are using an extra 2 visitors spot...less parking to park"
