"Captain Don was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and made our trip a success. He kept in communication leading up to the trip and even though we were hoping to catch salmon he called the day before to tell us the salmon migrated rather than bringing us on an unsuccessful trip. We caught our limit on rockfish, caught a ton of dungeness crabs, and a few lingcod. He never had us waiting when we needed bait or new tackle. His customer service was 5 star. He even steamed our crabs for us which was above and beyond your customary service. 100% would recommend Captain Don to anyone looking to fish in Newport, OR."

"I came over from Weiser, I’d. and my wife told me to book a fishing trip for Father’s Day. so I did. I booked a trip with Captain Don for myself and it was awesome! Captain Don took two others plus myself out and in a couple of hours we had our limit of halibut. I thought the day was over but was pleasantly surprised as he took us out to finish the day fishing for rockfish and the boat limited out there also. You couldn’t get a better guide. I will not think twice booking with Captain Don."

"My sister, dad, and I spent the morning with Captain Don and the experience was amazing. The fishing itself was great, but the service Captain Don provided pushed our experience over the top. He made sure everyone on the boat was having a great time, hooks baited and in the water (when we weren’t reeling in fish), and great conversation/extra little touches to really personalize the trip for us. When Donald had an opening the next day, he let us add in and the whole boat limited out on everything! Donald was awesome, he taught us all about the marine life, the area, and even gave us a tour of the marina. Can't recommend him enough."
