"Im not surprised that they have 2.3☆s. I search clinics or dermatologist @get care in Member Dashboard. I call #listed ask the clerk verify coverage for the treatment from provider @ "Foot" Clinic prior to scheduling.. Clerk calls me back & confirms it will be covered, so I schedule my appt then after 3mos & 5 or 6 appts they are denying payment because provider is not "in-network", the "clinic" accepts mDOA, however mDOA only covers Dr DB@ "FOOT" and dispite efforts to make sure I was covered, the clerk made my appt w/ Dr BJ & not with Dr DB at an in-network "Group/clinic". Not to mention the lack of providers. I have to wait 3mos for an appt, to follow-up after 5 surgerys and 30 day hospital stay I am unable to get meds refilled & side effects addressed from a Pcp because I cant get an appt until Jan/Feb. My Meds are out in Nov, urgent care Dr has referred me to the nonexistent, unavailable PCP or a derm. mDOA is the worst, shady coverage and long wait for an appt with a provider who will disappear from the network just days before your appt... It will list like you have a bunch of options for providers like it well Show ARC as a covered provider clinic and there are 15 locations, however only 1 Dermatologist is actually in network. I could have gotten county insurance for free and I wouldn't even owe a penny... But I stayed with Moda because I had already met my deductible and figured everything's covered now, those slimey greedy MF build Apartments with an outdoor track on the roof. Not to mention the hospital is all open season on you cuz you got insurance, Doc just gotta open the door and say hello & cha-ching! $300 for the hour. It was like your bartender friend who puts your drinks on some corporate party tab or the the obnoxious drunk guys tab... Update- I posted this review over a month ago they don't even care enough to post a response. They are delaying payment for 30 day hospital stay from March, and still refusing to pay. I had a case manager when I was in the hospital and I still call her to get help.. Yo, you cant just start selling health insurance in another state and not create a reliable provider network. You need someone onsite to create contacts and find providers to work with. F for Fail, Epic Fail! NO ST☆RS!"

"3 times in the past year moda has chosen to bill services incorrectly in order for them to not be cocered under moda synergy and forced me to pay out of pocket for things explicitly included in my plan. They refuse to cover testing that their in network doctors recommend, visists with in network doctors, and urgent care (even though they claim to cover this both in and out of network). To appeal I had to write a hand written letter (there is no digital option) and they still declined to pay for these services. Furthermore to get an appointment with a PCP you had to book 6 months out, which I did only to find out that they weren't going to pay for it because "it doesn't count as an office visit if the physician signs a form during the office visit.""

"We have had Moda Health for 6 plus years. If we need to talk to someone, the phone is answered right away. They are always polite and helpful. We’ve never had a claim denied, with the approval forwarded to the medical facility quickly. And, our monthly bill has decreased with co-pays also going down. There is no reason that we would change from Moda to anyone else. Thank you Moda."

"The actual world’s worst health insurance. Really really really wish OHSU didn’t have this for their employees. Perhaps we can convince them to make a change soon with all the other changes happening on the hill. Would be amazing to have someone, anyone, other than Moda."
