The culture is very positive and relationship-focused. I’ve also personally seen the products have a huge, positive impact on people’s lives. Business owners are generally refreshed by the value, service, ethics, and care we bring to a relationship… On the corporate level, all the way down to the service agent. As someone who works in the industry, I can attest that this is not always the norm. I am grateful to be part of a company that is setting a higher bar for quality and thoughtfulness."

"Very unprofessional work environment ruled by nepotism. Eric Weiland is the territory sales manager, Abigail Weiland (his daughter) is also a manager, and his wife Kerri Weiland is the only one on here posting 5 star reviews...something is real fishy about the way they do business! Very high turnover, the longest standing employee is the mans daughter, that speaks volumes!"

"As employer, I try to act with integrity and offer my employees solid benefits. I thought Supplemental Insurance would be a nice feature. But Colonial is totally unresponsive when I want to enroll new employees and even neglected to help us until after our entire Open Enrollment period expired. Two years in row!! I have been trying to reach some at Colonial for 6 months. Totally unresponsive! When I finally reached someone by phone today, she points the finger and say that it's not her job to provide customer service."

"Stephen, and Stanely are very unprofessional. They mess up your paperwork, and do not inform you that it change your policy start date. When you email them to find out more information as to why, they will never email you back. Do not use Colonial Life."
