"We are considering buying kayaks so thought this was a good way to test the waters. The trip last up to two hours, which is plenty of time. I do recommend bringing waterproof gloves. You’ll get blisters! They provide water proof pants and a jacket. Life vests fit well. McKenzie, our guide, was fully knowledgeable about kayaking, bay history and fishery info. We started out paddling around the docks then headed out under the bridge. Great views of cormorants, some nests, and now pelicans. The bay is very safe. The water is fine. Only mild hazard is the wake created by ships. Plenty of space to get out of the way. A nice tour! Highly recommended!"
