"I received wonderful treatment from the people here. The downside was that a simple cross-linking procedure that required the doctor physically in the room for less than 20 minutes cost around a total of $20,000. Luckily, insurance is covering most of it, but everything I've looked up says the cost of this procedure is no higher than $8k per eye. I'm going to be okay, but it's really easy to see how people end up totally broke and destitute after medical issues."
"Both Dr. Flaxel and Dr. Price have been very informative and have gone out of their way to speed up the much needed retinal attachment surgery, even with all the complications I've had. Their entire staff have been so kind, reassuring me that I was in the best possible hands and helping to arrange rides back and forth from Longview to Portland. They truly care about their patients. I am so grateful to all of them and would highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care."
"It was really nice to have people so patient. The information desk at the children's side led us to the eyewear pick up section but we were redirected towards the elevators around the information desk. I think we spent around 2 and a half hours there but we didn't realize that a first ever exam would take that long in the first place but they did seem pretty busy. I did have an issue with parking, we got a warning ticket because we were supposed to have some permit but we parked in the patient parking right there next to the building.? I'm going to call and ask about it Monday because we do have to go back soon and we don't want to get a ticket next time."
"This is the best place to be bring you little ones, the doctors are great and really explain everything in a way that everyone can understand"
