They were able to see us right away when we had an emergency, and the staff were incredibly kind and caring toward our little guy--as he was having quite a bit of anxiety with all of the life transitions and this medical emergency to boot. "I came to Ark to get a second opinion for my little Shitzu, as the day before we were advised that it is time to put him down as it seems like he has a mass in his prostate. After exam and discussion, the results seem like the same as we were told at the first vet. I really appreciated the way we were treated with compassion. I am struggling to know how and when to put Gizmo down and if it is the right thing for him and not me. The vet did a great job of explaining how to find 5 things that he enjoys doing and if he is doing less than half, then it helps us to know what quality of life he has. This made it so much easier to understand to help us with this difficult decision. It was also easy to make the appointment and all went on schedule. "So after my vet couldn’t get me in and the emergency vet clinic in Springfield said they could not treat my guinea pig, I called the Ark, when asked, yes we do and can you come in at 10, that was 45 minutes!! Not only did they get me in, the vet was kind gentle, and knowledgeable. She did a thorough exam, and when I voiced my concerns, she could answer my questions, so that I understood. she gave me a plan and advice on what to do next. She was amazing, and the rest of the staff, were very nice and welcoming. Considering I was worried about my animal, I went home very comfortable and confident. I will be using this vet clinic again."

"Was able to quickly get an appointment. They got us to a room quickly. Very good with my dog. The only drawback was pushing certain items. I was given a list for oral care at home. The list included a few items, such as rawhide, I would never give my dog. Still it was a good experience for both me and the dog. Which has been the case for us since we started going to the Ark."

"We travel for work so getting with a vet is hard when we need to , they cared about my baby as soon as I said what was going on over the phone and got me in same day, the place is super clean and the staff is so nice. Fir was scared to go in the back and they let me walk him back there instead of dragging him. I did leave the room so they could do what was needed, they said he did amazing and he was a good boy! They really took in to consideration us traveling with the treatment plan they made and got us oral a topical medicine for him! Also loved that it seemed like the appointments were spread out so the lobby wasn’t full of dogs coming or leaving. Signs to say cat area and dog area was great to see! As u can tell by the pic of Fir laying spread out he was very relaxed and calm during the whole thing and he loved the cheese wiz they had. If we are back in the area I will be going to only them!
