"Absolutely disgusting. Their staff is rude, lazy, patronizing--after waiting on their long, excruciating intake process (they tell you 4 weeks, but they don't tell you they need 3 weeks to process your records, which makes no sense). ALL I asked them to do was refill my meds, since I was about to be their patient and resume their services--and they couldn't book an appointment with me for a week. I told them my meds would be out and I would suffer migraines. They SHIFTED THE BLAME ON ME, THEIR PATIENT, WHO JUST NEEDED THEIR MEDS REFILLED. Their office manager was some phony guy who sounded like he left a job in real estate to be a mediocre mental health worker and simply took the secretary's word for it. I did admit I "raised my voice", but honestly, looking back on it, I didn't--I was just expressing my needs, that I really needed help, and they did NOTHING. Honestly, I really feel dehumanized just for expressing that I was in crisis or could be in crisis if I didn't get a psychiatrist to fill my meds. Basic. Basic stuff. Thank you everyone at NW ADHD for wasting 2 months of my life. You'll be hearing from the DOH--remember, we're in Portland, not in Alabama in the 50s. You won't get away with violating my rights for humane and attentive care. Do us all a favor and fire yourselves. NW ADHD Staff--here's a flyer for you to pursue an exciting career with Subway!!! Find a job that suits you TODAY!!!!"

"KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!!!!! It's sad these people who gave negative reviews don't understand mental health workers are over worked & under staffed, they can't make every person a priority over ones that have established care. They are human too. I had to wait 6 mos. to get my intake as well but it was so worth it!! My nurse practitioner is amazing and listens! They have always been helpful & informative. I don't know what these people are expecting. These people who left bad reviews are no different from everyone else that has to wait for 3 to 6 mos for intake. Stop whining thinking you or your situation is special & you deserve preferential treatment. Wait your turn!!"

"I've tried to get help from this clinic multiple times. They are always 6 months of more out. They refused to help me find another clinic. They wouldn't even schedule me for an entrance interview. Talk about a let down, I have no idea how you can call yourself a treatment center when you turn people away blindly. After reading the owners response to my review, it only strengthens my point. Dismissive and not fit for the title "mental health service". I initially applied in March of 2020, after 4 months of no contact I reached out again, they told me 6+ months before I could get an interview. I wouldn't want to be a client/patient of theirs reflecting on how I was treated. I found help at another clinic where I was made a priority."

"I had a pretty bad experience with the therapist who did my evaluation, and when I attempted to bring up why that was something that was very harmful to hear, they got extremely defensive and ended with "I'm sorry if you feel that way, but I don't feel that way at all". I told my regular therapist what happened and she reached out to NW ADHD offering some help should they want it, to avoid giving another patient a panic attack and making them feel entirely unheard. They not only never responded to her, but when I called them prior to try and get an email either for a head therapist or the therapist I worked with, the person who answers the phones asked me what it was about before she would give me an email address, and once I told her she gave the email address for the office which goes to her, the front office person. She told me that the therapists don't have email addresses... Completely unprofessional for me to be spoken to that way by someone in a profession who wants to help people, and this clinic clearly could not care less. They have no desire to improve the way they interact with patients or receive feedback."

"I have been going to this clinic for about 2 years now and I find them to be excellent! The staff I interact with truly have my best interests at heart. I'm speaking of my medication nurse, my psychologist and even the office staff. I will say that the first psychologist I had left suddenly after 4 months, the next one was pregnant so I knew she would be leaving soon, finally I found a psychologist that was very well-suited for me. I guess I'm saying that it's not fast food and you need to give this place a chance. I love the beautiful therapy dogs too! :*)"
