"Wow just had the absolute worst appointment with Jamie Owens. I have been seen for a staph infection in my throat a few years ago and was prescribed medication through telehealth. I made an appointment for sinusitis because I am home and sick and at no point did I receive any notice that for something like this would require me to come in for testing. He was condescending to me and later said “well there’s nothing we can do for you unless you come in for testing.” I said back “I’m sick I don’t want to go anywhere. I’m pretty frustrated I made this appointment and have to pay for it even though you can’t do anything for me right now so I guess that’s it.” He replied “okay bye!!” And ended the appointment. Why even have a telehealth option if you’re going to tell someone the telehealth appointment is useless? Don’t you see how frustrating that would be? Maybe someone should teach Jamie how to have some damn bedside manner because I feel scammed. Nice I also just saw he put: “visibly agitated” on my visit summary under “abnormal notes”. Don’t worry Zoomcare, I won’t be back so you won’t have to deal with me anymore. I wanted to add another note that I was so shocked regarding my treatment that I spoke to a patient advocate from OHSU and they said it is completely inappropriate for providers to use subjective language like “agitated, combative” to describe patients without any details and the fact that it says I am “unvaccinated” in my chart despite only not having received a recent booster is completely incorrect and also potentially damaging. I just said that I was frustrated about having made an appointment. Came for help and got punished instead. Awesome."
"Went in here to be seen for extreme pain in my back and abdomen. The doctor was nice, which made a difference for me, but the woman I interacted with at the front desk (tattoos, brown hair) was nothing but nasty. Very passive aggressive and overly condescending. I wasn't in the most pleasant mood because I was in so much pain but I definitely was staying polite even tho I was strained to communicate. On top of that I had already driven over there from another location because even tho it's advertised as an urgent care apparently you need an appointment unless you want to sit around and wait for the next available one."
"I visited this ZoomCare location twice this year. The doctor visits were fine, and I appreciate the minimal wait times. However, what prompted me to write this review is the hefty bill that I just received for a routine wellness visit back in May 2023. That visit should have be covered entirely by my insurance. If they don't accept my insurance, that should have been communicated upfront -- definitely not with a surprise bill over 6 months later. Surely, I am not the only person who has attempted to visit with Kaiser insurance. They should know if they don't accept my insurance. Also, it was never communicated upfront what my potential costs would be if insurance did not cover my visit and related labs. I also visited ZoomCare in August 2023, and now I'm worried that I'll be slapped with yet another huge bill. A couple years ago, I attempted to visit this very same ZoomCare. I had a different insurance plan back then. The staff at that time recommended I go elsewhere as they didn't accept my insurance. Apparently ZoomCare's ethics have gone completely out the window since then."
"This office is terrible. Go anywhere else if possible. Do not go expecting any kind of real care. They don't even seem to know what insurance they take. We recently took our daughter there, were told they took our insurance, and then we received a $636 charge to our insurance that is uncovered, even thought their out-of-pocket office visit charge is $250. They even got the day of the supposed visit wrong. Basically, avoid ZoomCare at all times. It's terrible to see how far this once useful service has fallen."
"Terrible experience. Was charged $250 for no care at all. Was told to go to an ER. I was there for matter of (10) minutes. They didn't touch the wound, no dressings to my wound, no medications or antibiotics, no new information, or recommendations on how to care for it. Still charged me on my way out $250.00. That's 1500/hr. Lol. Unbelievable. Mrs. Choi was a nice person but her superior was a bad decision maker. All about the money..."
