"Mary Grabowska agreed to take me as a client, we had a great first appointment. Then I tried to make a second appointment for 3 weeks to no avail. No return call, voicemail full, no text response. I contracted food poisoning while in my 17th week of pregnancy and reached out to her hoping to get advice at least for that. No. It’s a month since our first visit and nothing. I’m shocked to be treated this way by a midwife after telling her I was counting on her."
"Dr. Sara Ohgushi is a gem of midwife and pediatrician. If you can get in with her for your prenatal care, birth and delivery, post-partum and baby care, you won't be sorry! She was a rock throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I wouldn't have traded her experience, steadfastness, patience and empathy for anything! My son is now a year and a half and we still see her for routine checkups which we always look forward to (at least I do haha!)."
"My family has seen Dr. Sara Ohgushi through two pregnancies. The level of care far surpassed any expectation I had ever had. Due to the nature of her practice, sometimes appointments ran over, but we were always shown the same level of respect and care, as she makes sure to take that time with each patient. My concerns regarding pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care were always met with compassion and explanations. Dr. Sara took the time to get to know our family and to understand what kind of birth experience we wanted. She helped bring two of my girls safely into the world. We appreciate the time and care we received more than anything. Our first daughter continued care with Dr. Sara’s family practice for her first two years even after our insurance plan changed, we stayed as private pay patients as we found true value in the care provided. We believe Dr. Sara truly cares of each of her patience. Over the years we have recommended multiple family’s to her who have also seen her for their prenatal care and births."
"We've seen Dr Gibbons as our pediatrician for at least three years now. I love how down to earth and non judgemental she is and we can always reach her when we need advice. While the other practitioners have all been friendly in passing, they seem largely unrelated."
"My experience with this doctor is just baffling. I went to see Dr. Grabowsky for an annual exam and to discuss pre-pregnancy planning amongst other things. I was a new patient and hadn't met her prior. She was over 30 minutes late for my appointment. She didn't apologize or even acknolwege this. She took me back to her office and introduced me to a young woman who was "following" her that day. She didn't bother to ask me if I was actually okay with this and I really wasn't. I wish I had just left at that point, but for fear of offending her and because I really wanted this appointment, I stuck it out. This young woman, who I'm assuming is an intern, though I don't actually know, stayed in the room and even watched the exam/pap, again, without asking me if it was okay. At the end of our appointment, Dr. Mary said she'd call me with my results and some additional information about preganancy planning along other time sensitive information within the next 4 days. 4 weeks went by without a phone call, so I phoned the office and left a message. The receptionist got back to me and stated that Dr. Mary would get back to me that week. She didn't. Another week went by and I phoned again. I stressed that I wanted to speak to the doctor about the items we previously discussed. She said that she would let the doctor know and I'd hear back that day. I should mention that even the receptionist was very short with me on the phone. I got the feeling that they just didn't have time to take on a new patient. I didn't hear back from the doctor. Two days later I received a text from an unknown number simply stating that my "pap was normal". At this point, I was pretty frustrated with the lack of care/consideration...I'm also fairly certain that texting exam results is a privacy violation. I texted back being that I couldn't get a hold of her on the phone, and asked her about the other things we talked about in our initial meeting as I was awaiting further information/instruction from her, especially regarding the time-sensitive issue. I also stated that I understood that she was running a busy clinic, but that I really needed follow through from her about the delicate matters we were discussing. I politely asked her if she had time for me as a new patient. She never did answer or get back to me. Money and time wasted aside, I feel really disrespected on a basic human level and am really frustrated. I would not recommend seeing this doctor as a new patient."
