"After 6 years of trying to conceive with PCOS and male factor as well, after only 3 medicated and ultrasound-monitored cycles (just medication, no IUI or IVF) with OHSU Fertility we were able to get and stay pregnant! We are so thankful to Dr. Sacha Krieg and her team for helping us and for carefully monitoring our pregnancy through the first trimester. She was so kind and understanding, and she and her colleagues were very skilled and knowledgeable. Words cannot express how grateful we are to have had help getting pregnant, and the graduation gift at the end of our time there was a very sweet gesture as well. If you are going through struggles with fertility, we highly recommend going to OHSU!"
"I would not recommend this place unless you’re willing to waste your time and money. They don’t care about you and your specific needs. Each time the Dr called me she didn’t even know my stats and would mess up about how many embryos we had or what we’ve already tried. I had to remind her every time. And when cycles didn’t work out she didn’t have an answer to why or what we could test for answers and just wanted to blindly try something slightly different. $36,000 and no baby in the end. I wish i would have waited for the waitlist at ORM."
"I had two IUI’s, two retrievals, and one transfer done at OHSU - and I’m thrilled to be pregnant (and thereby a bit biased). I was a patient of Dr Krieg’s (no relation), who was wonderfully caring and very knowledgeable — but ended up seeing most of the doctors in the practice throughout my time there, as they rotate who is in clinic. They are all great, and Drs Lee and Rubin have a particularly warm bedside manner. They did not push trendy tests or bells and whistles, and always walked me through the science of what we were doing. The clinic is efficient and appointments (and I went to many!!) were almost always on time. The younger gentleman at the front desk knew us on sight and was always very kind and helpful. I know they have tons of patients, but the support of the nursing team (especially Ellen, Oanh, and Emily) really made me feel special! They were always kind, responsive, and helpful, even with the smallest question - often responding via MyChart and following up with a phone call same day. I know they’ve had some difficulties staffing their finance office, as we had some confusing billing over the summer and spring we’re still trying to sort out, but I fault that partially to my insurance company. If you can get a hold of Zoe on the finance team, she is a great resource. I haven’t tried any other clinics, but I reviewed pricing at ORM too and found OHSU was cheaper, and from chatting with other friends I think their patient management is better. 10/10 will recommend, and hopefully we’ll be back for Baby #2 in the future!"
"Antonio from OHSU Fertility is painfully difficult to work with. After informing me I needed a specific date on my requisition form before I could schedule, I wanted to clarify logistically how that worked if I had to get an ultrasound done on a specific day of my cycle. He continued to harp on the fact that I needed a date. Which I kept saying I understood. I'm used to having to book out months in advance to get ultrasounds, so I was trying to wrap my head around the logistics. Literally twenty minutes later of going back and forth and me repeating myself that I understood the date requirement and me saying you are not listening to what I am asking. He finally clarified that the wait to book out is a week. That is all I wanted to clarify. I asked for his name, so I could speak to someone else next time I call back. Stop multitasking when you are on the phone. Listen to what is being asked. Fertility is already stressful. It would be helpful if staff didn't contribute to the stress by being intentionally difficult on the phone."
"This is Sep 7, 2023 (12:10pm). Just made a call to this clinic, trying to find out what this clinic do (I wonder if I can still get preganant). A male (from the voice, he sounds like in his 30's, but i am not entirely sure) answerred my call. He does not even have the patience to use a few sentences to describe what they do. He first told me they scheculed to year 2024. After I said a simple blood test and ultrasond test need to be schules that far? He simply asked me to check on the web site. Very negative attitute."
