"I had a video appointment with Dr Stapleton to discuss lumbar & sciatica-like pain with neuropathy. The appointment itself was fine and he wanted to refer me to see a neurologist, stating he didn't think he would be able to resolve the issue. The neurologist's office was having a severe issue with receiving referrals and told me to call back in a week. When I did, they hadn't received anything from Dr Stapleton's office. I asked Dr. S's office to resend it, they said ok and 10 minutes later, called me to say they could not send referrals and I would need to ask my primary Dr to refer me to another office. I was also prescribed medication which was never sent to my pharmacy. It's beyond frustrating to be jerked around when you're in severe pain with numb extremities."

"Portland pain care has excellent in person customer service. My issue was with over the phone service. I was treated rudely and pushed aside the person I spoke to even went as far to blame a missed first appointment on my but it was due to technical issues with med Locker that was later explained that their text message link for the service don’t work properly. I later missed a secondary appointment due to a health issue which should be understandable. When I called to reschedule, Andreas G. was rude abrupt and unkind. I understand if someone’s having a stressful day, but after receiving such excellent in person care I was severely disappointed with that employee’s way of communicating and dealing with me, after trying to explain the situation. I was ignored and treated unkindly. I wasn’t afforded the opportunity to explain. I was told I missed appointments because my fault which wasn’t true. I then asked to speak to someone else and was then hung up on. Was disappointed after everyone else at Portland pain care treated me so well."

"I had a very brief virtual appt and then an MRI of my spine. After seeing my MRI was virtually normal I was told there was nothing else for them and no use making an in-person appt. When I inquired about how to deal with my daily pain that even keeps me up at night, I was told to try Tylenol or Motrin. Well the issue turns out to be my sacrum and not my spine. They might have figure that out if I had been seen in-person and not just brushed off. No effort was made to determine the source of my pain or help me."

"The staff is very nice when scheduling apointments.. Dr Joseph Stapelton MD, which is my Doctor at the Clinic was very professional and clear in explaining what the steps of the procedure were. The video meeting was very convenient so I Did not have to travel in my car. My Lower back and siatica responded well, I will be having a second round of shots soon an we hope that will do the trick so I can proceed with my left hip total replacement. I would recommend this clinic to everyone."
