"Well, I am now convinced that acupuncture works wonderfully! Now, I never really doubted it, but I also never tried it... A couple months ago, I screwed up by back pretty badly. After a week, I started developing excruciating muscle spasms which motivated me to finally call my doctor. By the time I paid him a visit, I was able to walk again (waddle is probably more accurate) and he recommended PT and acupuncture. When I finally went in, my back was quite a bit better, but far from being healed. I still had some decent pain in my lower back, just to the right of my spine. Pain that made me scared to try to pick something up from the ground, or put my socks on. Anyhow, Collin welcomed me in and was immediately approachable. After asking me about my pains, he had me lay on the table and, to my surprise, asked me to remove my socks. I thought he was going to poke needles in my back, but nope. He put a few needles in my right hand, a couple in my left and some on the edges of my left shin. Then he asked me to lift my pelvis off the table, which normally would hurt right at that bothersome spot. Sure enough, there was some pain though it was diminished. He put another needle in my right hand, in a slightly different spot and asked me to lift my pelvis again. The pain had instantly reduced by half. Finally, he put a last needle around the same area and asked me one more time to lift my pelvis. No pain! I was already amazed. He then left me laying in that room for about 30min, asking me to relax on that heated bed, with needles in my hands and legs. I was pretty sure I'd have a hard time relaxing, but next thing I know, I'm dosing off. After a relaxing 30min, he returned and explained that these effects should last around 24hrs. Well, that specific back pain hasn't come back yet and it's been 3 weeks. Now granted, I was already getting better, no doubt about that, but his art clearly accelerated my recovery and eliminated that back pain. I have no doubt that if my pain had been more intense, this would've helped immensely even if the pain came back 24hrs later. It takes time to heal after all. I went back to visit this morning, despite having no more lower back pains besides overall soreness (as opposed to the specific pain that prevented me from walking). He did a similar setup, though less focused on treating that precise area. Once again, I didn't think I'd relax, but sure enough, I'm dosing off with needles in my hands, feet, and even one in my scalp this time! Anyhow, my insurance plan covers a dozen visits, so I made sure to have a monthly visit to Collin's office for the rest of the year, regardless of symptoms. Do yourself a favor: if you wondered about acupuncture, try it. And if you're considering doing with Collin, just know that you'll be in good hands!"
"After experiencing months of chronic joint pain, myalgia, and other symptoms that were proving difficult to treat, Collin came recommended to me by a physician who said they would "trust Collin with their life". It's hard to surpass a review like that, but I can confidently say Collin did. The treatment I received from Collin helped me both physically and mentally in terms of managing and coping with my chronic pain. One of the things I appreciate most about Collin is how intently he listens to you as a patient. He does an excellent job of making sure to understand what symptoms you're experiencing, what your lifestyle is like, what historic factors may be contributing, and then explaining how he plans to approach the symptoms with treatment. Collin's approach is both scientific and human and made the world of difference in my recovery. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Collin!"
"Both my partner and I have seen Collin for acupuncture. Collin helped my partner after a stroke left him with reduced sensation on his left side. I had a back injury. Both of us derived great benefit from our sessions. Collin is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job explaining the treatments and answering questions. His approach put us both at ease immediately."
"I was really skeptical of acupuncture going in. I originally went in for neck and back pain but was surprised to find great benefit from acupuncture for many issues and aspects of my life. Collin is a patient listener, knowledgeable, and kind. He takes his time and helps you feel at ease. I highly recommend Collin to anyone seeking acupuncture."
"Have been receiving treatment from Collin after a bike accident involving serious injuries. He was recommended by someone at a PT office in Oregon City. I wouldn't have been able to get through my busy seasons without acupuncture treatments. He is very thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. He was able to help with a wide variety of health issues that resulted from the accident as well as some health issues that I had before the accident."
