Curry Medical Center - Primary Care, Specialty Care, Same Day Appointments

"Shame on Curry Medical Center. I went to their Urgent Care when I was sick. They no longer have Urgent Care but some kind of clinic. They asked me ever so nonchalantly would I like to be tested for flu and covid? Sure, I thought, I should know so I know how to treat myself. This simple test I could have gotten for $10 at Riteaid cost me $500!!! If the doctor or the medical assistant had given me any kind of heads up on the cost, I wouldn't have done it. But they just smiled, swabbed and ripped me off. This medical center has only money on its mind. You're health and serving our community is the last thing they think about if they do at all. Bottom line, go somewhere else if you are at all able to. Update: I finally received my bill and the cost ended up being over $700. I asked for an itemized list of what was done and I see the test included an RSV test I never asked for. The billing department was cold as ice and offered me not sympathy nor assistance or even a smile. My bottom line remains. Just go somewhere else! Greed is the name of the game for Curry Medical Center."

"The entire staff are/were thorough and attentive. Got to the issue and reached a treatment plan efficiently. Bot at the urgent care, follow up and the doctor visits. Couldn't be more pleased with the patient care. We even shared a few chuckles along the way."

"If I could give zero stars I would. The ED and urgent care here are absolutely worthless. Took me over 2 weeks to get treated for a sinus infection I Knew I had because Julie Green didn't check me over thorough enough. Now it's in my chest. Then 2 weeks later at the ED they made my ear bleed flushing it out, did nothing and made no note of it in my chart. We need better providers in Curry CO Curry health network needs to screen their providers a LOT better. Oh yeah, back in May they also sent my best friend home with an infected impacted gall bladder and told her it was a stomach bug. She ended up in emergency surgery a couple days later they didn't even check her gall bladder even though she was having symptoms that indicated her gall bladder."

"1) the address on Google is incorrect and took me to the wrong place (across the street and a couple doors down). 2) probably one of the more awkward doctors visits I've had. The nurse was quiet the entire time she took my blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. And the doctor only saw me for 10 or 15 minutes max. She didn't know what was wrong with my toes or hands, but opted for a blood test (which I wanted) and then said she'd write me two prescriptions for a possible infection. She also said she would refer me to a podiatrist. I really would've liked to talk to her more about the possibilities with my health, as Ive been researching it prior to my visit, but she seemed like she just wanted to go to the next person. Also, this was my first time here so I had no idea what to do afterwards, if she electronically sent over these prescriptions, or what's up with the referral she mentioned. It was awkward and I didn't feel very cared for. Just a prescription and off you go! Seems typical of the conventional medical industry these days, I guess."

"I had a test done in the nuclear medicine department. Margo and Scott were so wonderful and knowledgeable. It was a long test ( 4+ hours) and they made the day a pleasant one, Thank You. All the staff were so kind. Highly recommend this facility."
