"I have been having some female issues for the past 7 weeks or longer and the soonest they can get me in is April 29th. Am I just supposed to suffer until then? What if it's something serious? My dr won't help me anymore because it's a "female" issue and I need to see a gynecologist. My Dr even told them I need a more urgent appointment. But almost a 3 month wait? What if it's cancer? 3 months makes a difference. And the reception was rude and wouldn't even look to see if they got the message from my Dr about my situation. I hate this place already and haven't even been there. I hope the appointment goes better than this. She kept telling me if I need something sooner than to find another clinic."
"Wish I could give less than one star. This place is horrible. The drs treat you like you’re a body not a human. They don’t listen and they throw Diagnosis at the wall to see which one sticks. This place is utterly egregious. When I finally found a dr who cared they expressed that many of their patients had the same or similar experiences as me. Do better Salem health. Literally shaking my head."
"I saw Dr. Chelsea Blackett, she was very thorough and answered all my questions! My first visit, but I feel like I've been very well taken care of."
"I haven't even been seen. Why? Because the provider reviewed my referral, decided not to see me, then never called. Whoever reviewed my referral completed that November 30th. I called today, January 2nd, because I hadn't heard anything. What do I find, but the provider recommends I go up to OHSU - a three hour minimum trip, once you factor in driving, waiting, and an actual appointment. The official note says this is because I'm on HRT, or at least that's what the front desk worker told me when I called. When I originally called to schedule, I told them I was scheduling for a completely different reason. I can't help but feel like the provider either didn't read the notes thoroughly or isn't fond of transgender patients. Either way, I'm currently in the process of a formal complaint and they won't be getting my business."
