"I just wanna say that my therapist is Marlando Lewis And He has helped me so much with my anxiety in panic attacks and trauma. I think he's one of the best therapist I've had.He is very helpful And you can easily open up with him. I just want him to know. I appreciate everything he's done for me. And I wouldn't ask for another therapist. There's just no words to explain of a good person he is. Thank you so much Marlando Lewis your the best!"
"I’ve had a great experience with NTX. Jessica Hilbert has always been great with my medication and making sure all my medication is working and if any changes or side effects have occurred. Marlando Lewis my therapist also been really great support, have really made a significant improvement with his help."
"My son has been a client there for a year. The testing was wonderful and I liked his prescriber, but trying to get ongoing therapy or care was difficult. Sometimes they wouldn't show up or notify me of changes. His current provider (really just a prescriber) suddenly left last month-no advanced notice or plan for medication management- and they now want me to fill out a complete intake over again along with forms that are not appropriate for a child. Forms that seem fraudulent and not medical-related. Each month they required a 15 minute check-in for a prescription that is not a controlled medication, yet gave me no communicative courtesy. It feels actually really scammy at this point. They won't refill my son's medication one time to get him through to his appointment with his primary care in two weeks (who I feel will be more reliable with ongoing prescribing). So my child is going to suddenly run out of an extended release medication that is not a controlled medication. The communication is so poor and the care borders on being unsafe. Maybe go here for testing, and take the results to your safe providers for actual care. My hopes were so high when I found them, I never thought this would be the outcome."
"I was a client here for almost a year and it was a year. I wish I could get back and give to another provider to take care of my mental health needs and medication management. My psychiatrist went on several vacations, but never notified her patients and they had no back up provider, they also do not have an after hours number. Also, something was wrong at the pharmacy and the pharmacy tried to contact the office or my provider. They never got a response so I would end up not getting the medication or having to pay for the medication out of pocket to ensure that I could get it. My provider also had her work phone stop working but did not know until my next appointment when I finally got a hold of somebody that her work phone was no longer working, but when I was never notified of this change. If you are looking for medication management, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere"
"EDIT: Took off a star because I've realized that Sonia actually was not as great as I thought. The genetic testing she had me do to see what meds work best for me showed that the med I was on for my anxiety was not helpful. She took me off of it and we did not replace it. My mental health has gotten worse since then and I am back to the way I was before I started it nearly a decade ago and this is very, very bad. I will be okay because I should be able to get back on it via my PC because I blessedly never got around to transferring my pre-existing psych scrips to NTX, but this has been absolute misery. Be careful if you go here and your psych is at all reliant on genetic testing for med guidance. [Original] Sonia Reisdorf is great and would receive 5 stars. NTX however would receive none of I could get away with it. So we're calling it two because of Sonia and because one specific member of the admin team (Tina) has been consistently kind and understanding. (The TL;DR assessment of the company as a whole is the last paragraph) The psych I had at NTX before Sonia made me feel like a lab rat. He refused to accept my existing ADHD diagnosis, tried to force me to do their on camera ADHD test, and questioned the credentials of the therapist that diagnosed me. Because he wanted me to use their software instead. Cut to today and they've got a new client portal/system where they require even existing patients to do a full intake form along with the consent form to use it. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if their intake didn't include required diagnostic self assessments - including ones for existing diagnoses. Which are extremely triggering when you've had to jump through those particular hoops multiple times already. The forms that they absolutely had on file already should have been optional for existing clients, but the assessments are the big issue here. The entire thing was triggering and, frankly, ableist. They also do not mark when emails are urgent vs when they're the symptom assessment forms you're supposed to fill out before every appointment (that have never been brought up because talking about symptoms is already a normal part of a follow up appointment). So I had an appointment I badly needed end up canceled because I assumed it was yet another email about the symptom forms that I had already filled out via the text reminder. Because the wording in the subject line was almost identical. They also have a monthly "symptom tracker" that is the exact same form you fill out before your appointment (in my case including a thing that asks about the last six months every month), which is unreliable and seems to exist solely to make them seem innovative. More than once it has claimed that I was doing better when I was actually worse. It is not actually tailored to the individual and the ways your symptoms impact your life, but it's set up to make it seem like it is because they're the assessment forms that most closely relate to your diagnoses and treatment plan. Never mind that the PTSD form is for when you've experienced one singular traumatic event and is useless for those of us with a lifetime of trauma. I was also chastised for pointing out that they should label urgent things as urgent because apparently, to the office staff, forms that will make your appointment get canceled if you don't fill them out and forms that will not are of equal importance. Over all, NTX feels like a company that cares more about numbers, the mirage of efficiency, and the appearance of being on the cutting edge than they do about their actual patients and our individual needs. I am firing them from my care so I can find someone whose clinic doesn't make me feel like my well-being matters less than their image."
