"I saw Dr. Thomas L Kincheloe (Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Gateway clinic) for the 1st time 8/5/22 & he was WONDERFUL! It took me MONTHS to be get in, but almost immediately he confirmed my suspicion that I'd been misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia. He said I have EDS, which is treated differently & referred me to someone new that day. He Listened, was Sincere & Kind. I almost cried right there bc instead of getting better I've been declining mentally & physically, & many of the meds that would help make me sick. I'm so grateful to have someone who obviously really cares."
"After the colonoscopy Dr. Park told me and my friend that I would be contacted about scheduling a cat scan. After two reminder calls and no responses from Park or the cat scan facility, I received a letter from Park discharging me with no mention of the cat scan. I faxed over a letter. He called and denied ever saying he advised a cat scan or would be contacted about one, and stated there had been a miscommunication about the cat scan. When I told him I wanted a surgeon's evaluation, he said he would refer me and I would be contacted. A week later there has been no contact from Park's office to tell me whether he had contacted a surgeon or whether one would be contacting me. Park knows that I am in tremendous pain. Park may be a competent doctor, but his communication is far from adequate, as far as I am concerned."
"The doctors are alright. No major issues with any of the doctors or front desk staff. However, due to how ridiculous OMG's billing department is, I refuse to go here again. I was making consistent monthly payments, as much as I could afford to. Sure, the invoices say to pay the balance in full, but all invoices say that. With every other medical provider I have had, as long as I am making a payment each month, they don't care. Here though, there was no indication of anything wrong, no late payment or collections warning on the invoices at all. It wasn't until I got a call from them that I realized something was wrong. A recorded call, mind you, that I was about to dismiss as any other solicitor that was just calling random numbers, not even an actual person on the line. It gave no information but asked me to call them instead of just telling me what it was about. When I called they said they were a week and a half away from sending me to collections. Apparently, unless you are on one of their specific special payment plans (pay off in three months or create an account with the third party access one to get on a plan with them) the system would automatically send me to collections. I don't know what billing system OMG uses, but it's ridiculous. I was never told about these payment plan requirements and there were never any letters or indications on the invoices that I would be sent to collections. Just a random recorded robotic call asking for a call back when many would just think of it as just another solicitor if they only listened to the first couple seconds of it. For the billing hassle alone, if you, like most people, can't afford to pay off your bill within three months, and if you have any other option for a place to go to, then avoid OMG like the plague and go somewhere else or you may find out you have been suddenly sent to collections with exceedingly little warning."
"Very frustrated. I had a referral sent over a little over a month ago. Originally got an appointment about a month and a half from that date (which is within reason) but since then I have gotten calls from them saying I need to reschedule twice! I somehow got bumped from my first appointment and when they gave me a new one bumped me from that as well. My PCP is wanting me to get in quickly and now we are at three months out for my appointment (that is unless they reschedule me again)."
"Be ready to be overcharged for very marginally competent care at the Dermatology Clinic on Harlow. They did not even use the correct doctor name on the inflated bill that was submitted to my insurer. The office personnel made a point of giving me the run around, wasting even more of my time. My insurance now has their botched paperwork as part of my medical record. And I get to pay $629.08. Hopefully their simple treatment of liquid nitrogen won't leave my right arm scarred on top of the outrageous charge for minimal service."
