"Dr Stauber is one of the best chiropractors I found, and at the same time, he did not discover nor treat the root of my problem. Although he knew about the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) approach, I discovered it myself on the internet as a potential treatment. I self-referred to a practitioner in Salem who fully implements Postural Restoration, who was able to assess and treat my problem successfully. Prior to that, I had received chiropractic care on a regular basis, every 3-5 weeks for over 30 years, and without that treatment my discomfort would build to the point it interfered with sleep. Dr Stauber was my last chiropractor, and one of the best, but my condition continued to gradually worsen and my abilities to do things I loved like swim, play guitar, and paint watercolors were becoming slowly more and more limited. After the course of treatment at the clinic that, fully implements PRI, I can do all my desired activities with no limitations and it has truly transformed and enhanced my life. It has now been 9 months since my last chiropractic appointment. I know Dr Stauber implements Postural Restoration as an adjunct to his practice, but does not practice it fully nor offer the complete assessment and treatment which was what was needed to address and resolve my problem. I do miss Dr Stauber and his wonderful staff and I still do many of the exercises they provided. His chiropractic care was the most effective of a number of chiropractors I had seen over the years.
