"When I read the review that said Dr. Steed greets patients herself in the waiting room I thought, well surely her assistant was out that day. Dr. Steed not only greeted us in the waiting room, she also weighed my dad and took his blood pressure herself, multiple times, both arms, standing and sitting. She then proceeded to walk my dad through a thorough, comprehensive medical history. It's obvious she truly cares about her patients and treating them to the best of her ability which benefits from knowing everything that is clinically relevant to each patient. She is open minded, and doesn't close off possibilities in her quest for the most appropriate treatment. She is no nonsense and has a tough cookie air about her: you know this woman knows how to take care of herself and trust that she can take care of you, too! Underneath is a gentleness that can be denied only by her keyboard, which she slaps into submission regularly as she types visit notes herself. As an added bonus, she has a wry and quick wit which, if you're not on your toes, you might miss. Her staff was lovely, polite and helpful. I am very pleased that my dad was referred to NW Renal Clinic and Dr. Steed!"
