"While the care I received at WHA was something I'll never take for granted, getting hold of customer relations has been an nightmare to say the least. After repeated calls, for months, and messages saying that someone will call me in up to 4 weeks, i have been trying to communicate with them directly since my twins were born, and my twins just turned TWO. I shouldn't have to hound and have it be my responsibility to call everyday for an issue that they have own, but has been left unresolved. Wanted to provide an update that it has been RESOLVED much thanks to the patient relations department! Although it took time and persistence, it was taken care of."
"I have been very disappointed with my experience this go around at Women's Healthcare Associates. When I received care in 2021 with my son is was significantly better. This time I feel like I'm just someone they can get money from. I have had MULTIPLE friends tell me that they were told they needed to do a second ultrasound after the anatomy scan due to baby not moving enough, couldn't get good angles of the heart, etc which they also said the same thing to me. When I pushed back more on this I found out the other images they would get wouldn't even make much of a difference with what they already know which everything was looking normal on the anatomy scan. It made no sense for me and my friends to be scheduled another hour anatomy ultrasound for a few images that wouldn't make a difference! I encourage anyone to not just go along with what they say but ask specific questions. Also if you don't schedule a second one based off the providers they will make you feel horrible about it. I have been pushed by schedulers, assistants, midwives to schedule something I already said no multiple times on. Please read the notes in my chart since I have stated not to be asked something I have said no to doing multiple times. But yet they keep bringing it up and that's what the whole appointment ends up being is what I am not doing. Soooo pushy where you feel you can't make your own decisions confidently for you and your child. It's my time, money and my decision but they are so laser focused on having you do all the things that there is no wiggle room whatsoever. It would be nice if there was more focus on the positives of how well my baby is developing, heartbeat, how I'm feeling, etc. My hunch is if you have good insurance they want the money. The other caveat is when they want you to do these follow up appointments there is never any decent openings when you try to schedule something. You have to drive to a different clinic way out of the way or wait weeks. It's exhausting! I'm currently almost 28 weeks pregnant and I am counting down the days to not have to go here for care. It is such a bummer!"
"I’ve been coming to this place for over 13 years and I do not recommend anymore! I just had my 3rd baby and it was a nightmare. They scheduled me with different people every time, it wasn’t personal at all. The OBs I’ve met-none seemed to care whatsoever. The midwife’s seemed to be more caring but not all of them are informative with the concerns you bring up to them. Everytime I wished to be scheduled with someone I’ve already seen, they would always give me the excuse how that provider is either booked or not in and if I say I can wait to see them they would give me the excuse: you have to be seen that week. And this would be weeks out, so you don’t have a choice. At the end I was happy to be scheduled with one specific seemperson but I ended up seeing them twice out of the 5 scheduled visits and this was after I had expressed how I didn’t like being seen by so many different people. Communication sucks, I had to get postpartum bloodwork and none of the 3 or 4 people I have talked to even mentioned I had to be fasting and not to mention the long wait times during office visits that happen half the time for the provider to see you for not even 5 minutes. My second baby was 2 years ago at the end of Covid and I had a much better experience, sadly that provider doesn’t work for this place anymore. My first child was 13 years ago and overall thanks to the midwife my experience was also good. If you have no choice but to come here, see the midwifes: Ashley, Kendra, and Jodi they actually seem to care and listen to what you say."
"Looking at all of the negative reviews only solidifies my obligation to post this review. I was referred post ER visit and it has been nothing but a nightmare since the day that I came in. I will say that the phlebotomist(s) that I’ve worked with have been great despite the terrible client care from the doctor and midwife that I’ve worked with. I have been in several times before establishing care, and had to jump through a plethora of appointments to even establish OB care. In addition, the doctor had the audacity to chastise me to my face while lying down on the table receiving a mediocre ultrasound on an iPad after just being in a car accident and having bleeding. Talk about a vulnerable position. Coming to this location has done nothing but exacerbated my stress levels exponentially. After voicing my concerns, it happened again with a midwife who completely misrepresented our conversations in my medical visit notes which I read in mychart. Upon reading them, I filed a complaint and have come to the realization that these providers only care about the insurance payout and not the wellbeing of the patient or the baby. I don’t trust them to deliver my baby or to accurately represent me in their documentation which leads me to believe that they are unsafe and untrustworthy to work with. They don’t value or respect personal and religious obligations that some of us do actually care about and they’re bullies. I would never ever recommend this location or its providers. They know little about natural childbirth and definitely do not encourage confidence in women while also implement and enforce unnecessary medical testing that has been proven to be dangerous in pregnancy. - I deeply sympathize with women who don’t know any better, first time mothers, and women who genuinely are trying to be responsible and go along with the every demand of a doctor just because they say it must be so. Do your research. Know the risks. So disappointed that people who work with pregnant women can be so unsupportive and cause so much trauma."
"From my view, they treat patients similar to how a corporation would treat workers. You are a number, you don't matter, make more appointments, give us more money. I've been going to this clinic for three years. The first year was great! I loved my OBGYN, but with covid she retired. After that, the care has been minimal and absent. The last two years I went, they completed the bare minimum for an exam. Last year, they didn't even perform an actually yearly women's exam. The doctor just met me, said a few words, then left. They stated that if I wanted a more detailed exam, then I needed to make another appointment which was many weeks out. So basically, it seems like they only wanted to make more money by scheduling more exams. But like many insurances, you only get 1 woman's exam per year. 0/5 - Would not recommend to any woman, not even someone I hate"
