"I have been attending counseling at Oregon Center for Change for the past year and a half. In the beginning they told us they had rules against smoking weed and drinking. When I told them I was smoking weed, they told me I needed to find a different outlet. But then they contacted my P.O. and said I would be kicked out if I drank again. Nothing was said about the marijuana to my P.O.. Then when it came time to finish up my treatment. I was told that none of it counted. Because I was smoking weed the whole time. Even though they never asked me for the past 8 months if I had been smoking. And there was no proof of me even doing it. This makes absolutely no sense to me or my P.O. because if that were the case, something should have been said about it to them, and I should have received a violation for it. Instead, they continued to take my money (over three thousand dollars) and then when it came time to graduate they said, "Oh none of your treatment counted". Even when my counselor has recently said to me "I have no concerns about you." They should not have taken my money and they should have violated me from the get go, instead of placating me and acting like it wasn't that big of a deal. Then they go and change their rules and allow everyone to drink, which I don't do and still say marijuana is a violation. They said that it wouldn't be a violation if I had a medical marijuana card. So I went out and got one that day. Then they said it was too late, and that it didn't count for the prior usage even though i've had these medical issues for years. They change their rules to fit their agenda and what they feel and who they want to accommodate at that time. This is one of the most crooked, dishonest and unproductive treatment facilities you could ever go to. Even my P.O. has told me that her boss is going to have a talk with them because this is not allowed. Even the supervision office doesn't think that what they did is right, if that doesn't tell you how back handed and crooked this office is then you probably will never understand. If the probation officers are saying that the treatment is doing something wrong, it has to be. This is an office of angry women that feel it's their DUTY and RIGHT to hold men accountable for mistakes they made years and years ago, even decades ago, and after they have served their time for it. This office has no desire to rehabilitate or treat people properly. The only desire is to make money."
