"I have been coming here for my yearly mammograms for several years. OHSU's Center for Women's Health offers a scenic and tranquil setting for an uncomfortable and unnerving procedure. The staff and technicians are wonderful and gentle. Now the parking...take the TRAM if you start at OHSU's Waterfront Campus. If you're on the Upper Level of OHSU's Campus, make sure you park in the Kohler Building's parking lot. The parking and campus of OHSU is a maze and can get confusing. Allow extra time it's easy to get lost, take the time to read signs carefully, sometimes you make have to cross buildings and take different elevators."
"Good luck getting an appointment if you need one. The automated message says “due to unforeseen staffing shortages we are experiencing longer wait times…” FOR YEARS! It’s not “unforeseen” if it has been going on for years. I leave a message instead and never get a call back. There is also zero consistency in care. Additionally, when I delivered my baby at the hospital, I got a HUGE surprise bill for my epidural because, even though OHSU was in network, the anesthesiologist was not. In the most painful moment of your life, they pull this trick!"
"My experience is identical to another reviewer, Lauren PS. I was misdiagnosed here for years. My provider was only interested in IUD and anxiety meds as the solutions for literally everything. It’s misogynistic to slap PMS labels on everything. Turns out I have a bone marrow disease and Dr missed the abnormal test results for 4 years."
"I came here 2020-2021. The nurses are nice, and front desk is easy to work with this is more about the midwife I worked with. I chose a midwife thinking she’d be more supportive and helpful than a gyno. I came in a state of desperation facing so many symptoms I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Auto immune and hormonal issues. She just played the guessing game and was very empathetic but not driven to help me resolve and figure it out. Thankfully she referred me to the in house acupuncturist who helped me combat my pain the most and was kind/helpful but I still had no answers. Also the naturopath couldn’t give me answers either she was also booked out for months at a time. Unreal that so many doctors who go to school and are trained for this have no answers, if they don’t, who does?!? Well, I drove down to Mexico and went to a hospital in Tijuana 2 years later and the doctor has just informed me I have pelvic inflammatory syndrome and strep in my bloodstream as well as high prolactin which is not normal for me I’m not a mother. The doctors in Mexico actually touched my body and gave me the proper tests, very thorough. How was none of this seen by anyone at OHSU? I’m shocked. Don’t let the nice faculties fool you. In one day in Mexico I got more answers than the 1.5 years I kept going back to this hospital. It was an exhausting experience going here so often and leaving with nothing but medication options and “maybes”"
"My experience with my doctor O’Reilly has been great. The med assistant is always so nice and attentive, and even though it’s a longer drive from where I live, definitely worth it. Glad I’m a patient here now"
