Providence Health Center - Reed's Crossing

"I have always had a very good experience with the back office crew at this urgent care, but every single time I come into this clinic the front office lady is very unwelcoming, but I have never thought much of it. A couple of days ago, I went into this clinic because I was beginning to experience the worsening symptoms of a uti, and I asked to be seen. Well, upon checkin in the front office lady states that both of my insurances terminated in May (which i know is untrue because I had confirmed both were active prior, and had been seen at this clinic 4 or 5 times since may and she had never said anything before), and when I asked her to call on it she told me this is something she could not do and had me walk out and go back home. (I work with insurance and I know providers offices can call to confirm coverage) I believe this interaction was very rude and unprofessional"

"I really wish I could say good things about this office. However, dermatology took over five months to get us in. Staff and provider not prepared for visit. Patient having to make sure provider has all information of why patient is coming to see them. And they where not prepared. I am extremely disappointed at the lack of due diligence and follow-through from this office. Instead of blaming other offices for not sending over information, they should have taken the proactive part and requested information prior to patient visit. Don’t waste the patients time. It’s the providers office responsible to be prepared to see a patient before they come in. That’s what you are paid to do and that’s why the patient pays so much in insurance costs. I expect the best care that I pay for. Not excuses."

"Reeds Providence is a nice and easy to drive to accommodation for us. However, it is not conducive to those that are handicapped. There are no easy access doors to the lab, imaging, etc.... instead it's a long walk to the front entrance. Disappointing"

"First time @ Reed's Crossing. Too bad more Providence locations in Hillsboro aren't on a bus route. Lucky for me it's within walking distance. Nice aesthetics but weird building layout. My chief complaint was the signage - the map and description layout situates the viewer to the back of the building, rather than the u-shaped front hall the visitor is standing in. I can only imagine what sort of effect that might have during an emergency exit scenario. Today got called for a blood draw in 5 minutes, can't beat that."

"new, clean facility close by so I don't have to go to Barnes for services offered here like Laboratory. However, seems to be understaffed due to it being new / not many people coming in for services. It took more than 35 minutes to get a blood draw from check in. I guess not too bad but felt long because there weren't many people waiting and didn't seem busy. A little confusing to find the parking lot when entering from Reed due to continued construction around."
