"I'm a Veteran and due to the office not billing the VA correctly, I'm now being threatened with collections by the physician's office. This is in spite of the fact they have a contract with the VA saying they cannot bill me. When they sent out the letter saying they were closing and blaming it on slow payments, no wonder. The billing department was incompetent."

"Care was good but the billing department is horrible. Received a bill for my husband a few days before the office was to be closed permenately. Tried contacting them via phone and email messages before office closed but never heard anything back. Bill was for a missed appointment due to my husband being in the Emergence Room the same day. Office was contacted prior to appointment with them stating they would take care of the issue. A month later we received another bill which we once again called with them stating they would take care of it. A couple days prior to their office being closed we received another bill. Left messages on recording, emails sent even sent copy of ER viisit still NO return call. We decided to pay the bill even though we were promised it would be taken care of due to not being able to contact them through their contact info. We find it disturbing that they claim the office was closed in part to insurance reasons when they cannot even take care of a simple issue as this. Sound more like an INCOMPENTENT billing dept."

"I had lab tests done at Tuality Physicians (Dr. Hoffman’s office in November. I was told that the practice would be closing and I had to find a new doctor but to go ahead with the lab tests and they could be transferred. I never got the results so I called and never got a call back, yet I received a bill. It is very irresponsible and unprofessional, as was his letter to his patients explaining that he’s closing the practice due to patients and insurance companies not paying. I have never not paid and his problems shouldn’t reflect his patient’s care. Two of his employees also told me that they were given just a few days notice of the closure and just before the holidays. Everyone has problems, deal with and do your job!"

"I would not recommend Dr. Hoffman. I had a CT scan in the ER that showed a mass on my ovary. I happened to have a pill check from Hoffman that day. He took a look at the scan and said "it looks like cancer to me". It was obviously very upsetting. I dont understand how he could say that when he is not an oncologist. He was very unprofessional and I will not be returning to him. By the way, my ct scan showed no signs of cancer."

"Dr. Hoffman is a nice guy. That's really about it, very incompetent when it comes to prescription refills. There have been at least four separate occasions when I have needed a refill only to find out I don't have any. This will usually happen about three days after I place the order. Every time I'm forced to pay for a visit just so he can write another prescription. Extremely frustrating and dangerous to my health. I’ve been with Dr. Hoffman for several years because I’ve trusted him to do his job. He has let me down several times, once I was even accused of lying about my symptoms then shortly after that I had an emergency surgery that changed my life. Fast forward to today and the exact same thing is happening but with the other side of my back. I do NOT recommend him and if you value your health then you will find someone else."
