"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Reins. I’ve been his patient for almost year now after suffering a knee injury. My experience with him has been great. He is always willing to listen to what you have to say. He will explain every form of treatment and let you decide what’s next. After my surgery, at each post- op appointment he would reassure me and was always optimistic about my treatment and recovery."
"I do not recommend dr Thomas for older patients. Went in to make sure a fracture was healing & check all x-rays. When checking her wrist he did a carpal tunnel test that made her scream & held it that way. Now she has a swollen hand wrist & cannot use it. We did not ask about carpal tunnel surgery & she is 90! Be more thoughtful about who your patients are or stop practicing."
"I suffered a traumatic assault a few years ago. A 180lb+ man threw me, head first, on to cement. Then jumped up and down all over my torso, skull, hips, etc, etc. Twice I have tried to get appropriate medical attention with no serious response. The good people here are only willing to address the least injured part of my body. The doctor that examined me not only disregarded the majority of what I put on the paperwork, but actually talked over me several times when I attempted to advocate for myself. I am not a litigious person but this is whack."
"Dr. Rains is fantastic. He has performed two knee surgeries for me, an ACL reconstruction and a meniscus repair. He is very polite, professional, and helpful. He is also a great member in our community as he volunteers services to local youth."
"Dr. Rains has been a good Doctor. He fixed my shoulder in 2015 and was compassionate and has excellent surgical skills. So this last week I returned to him for help with a very painful back situation. Was so disappointed with the clinic now. The radiologist Scott was the only one who seemed to care about my pain. Dr. Rains came in, said he looks at the X-rays and asked what did I want. He must of asked me that 3-4 times all with a discussed attitude that I was there. He did finally show me the X-rays and discussed them with me and then ask me again what did I want. Granted I realize that backs are not his specialty but he is still an Orthopedic Physician. We did decide on a plan of action which included medication, PT referral, MRI and maybe a brace. He said good by and was gone. His in room assistant was short, curt, dismissive. I was given a prescription that was a narcotic. When given to the pharmacy it was written incomplete. I went from his office directly to the pharmacy. When the pharmacy called Dr. Rains he had already left. It took almost 24hrs later to get my medication for pain management . The morning after I was trying to get my prescription fixed, Monica the receptionist could do nothing apparently other than send me to an extension that was just a voice mail. When questioned if I could talk to someone she said no that Emily would have to help me “fix” the prescription and she wasn’t in. She was going to be late. Why at 0800 when I first called she didn’t share this information is unclear. This whole clinic needs an attitude adjustment. The dismissive, do not care, don’t bother me attitude needs to go. There should be a system in place for managing problems when people are not in the office for their responsibilities to be handled. And Dr. Rains, fix what ever you need to because I do know you can care."
