"Love this little shop! Excellent constantly evolving and dynamic collection in a neat part of town. They usually stay open just in time for a movie to start at Hollywood Theatre so definitely pair the two on your next visit. Jed the co owner is one of the nicest fellers you’ll meet and has an adorkable dog. Peep his many stylish dad hats! I think 95% of my little vinyl collection is from here."
"This is exactly the kind of record store I’ve been looking for: deep cut/nerd/collector central. Its very rare that I find a place where I have to restrain myself from blowing an entire paycheck in an hour, but this is one of them. Very reasonably priced, too, if you cross reference discogs and the like. I really wish more shops would lean into the side of vinyl this hard, ‘cause a lot of their selection (obscure African music, psych, experimental, etc) I’ve never even seen in the wild prior, and I’ve been a collector for nearly 20 years"
"I love love love this store! I think I’ve posted a review before but since googy is prompting me again, I’m happy to share my experience. Everyone behind the counter is very kind and knowledgeable and they have a great selection of titles for all tastes. I’ve checked many items off my bucket list here."
"Cute little shop with a big variety. It’s an especially good place to find interesting releases from international markets, but also has a good selection of rock, jazz, etc that you’d expect to find in any other Portland record shop. Prices were also very fair, with some interesting finds in good condition for around $3."
"It was OK, not what I would expect from a 4.9 star rated store. It was cramped inside, which was ok but the atmosphere was not welcoming for someone w/ sensory or social issues at all. I was very anxious not long after getting inside due to the loud music and tight spaces, and the person at the register wasn't much help either. While they were respectful and not outright rude, they didn't seem too interested in helping me find records or give advice on artists. I've been to a few other shops and the people are always very talkative about music, especially my favorite local place, however this one not so much. I would give two stars, but I found a $200 plus record for $40 so that's kinda cool I guess. They also don't grade records, and when I asked about the grade of a record I wanted to buy the person said I was welcome to try it out at the listen station."
